What’s the excuse for God of War?
You must be living under a rock. The delay for God War ragnarok came because Christopher Judge, the voice actor behind Kratos, has revealed that God Of War: Ragnarok was delayed due to an illness he faced in 2019. Taking to Twitter, Judge stated “Ragnarok was delayed because of me” and explained that in 2019 he faced significant health issues leaving him unable to walk.

I am sure Sony has a clause for that. No big company is going to sign a deal worth 100s of millions and not have that,
it's almost standard. More than likely MS is breaking the contract and would have to pay Sony something.
But if am not mistaken, this is the same ad from last time. MS would be stupid to advertise COD while Sony still has marketing rights.
Is it just me, or does it feel like MS/Xbox has been losing some key talent from a number of their studios?

You do know the decision does not get made over night right? This literally changes nothing for MS in Japan. The Japanese market doesn't support MS because MS doesn't see any need to invest in them. Activision games I believe don't sell that well in Japan

You mean the same business practices that Microsoft themselves take part in, from having a history of paying for exclusive content to full and timed exclusive deals? I wouldn't be surprised if these politicians knew MS does they same things, but they look the other way then the check clears

Microsoft can literally work with more Japanese studios, open Studios and releases games that appeals to the Japanese market, they can also advertise their products in Japan, they don't and cry ...

Look I get it, stupidity is at an all time high with you and your ilk, but that argument to exclude Nintendo where MS showed a chart with Playstation covering most of the chart was the hearing that took place in Europe. She is misinformed, it's not the job of the Japanese government to encourage Microsoft to actually invest in the market. Absolutely nothing is stopping MS from working with Japanese devs, opening more studios or actually spending money advertising their products in Japan. Apple is an American company and their phone is the most dominant in Japan, because they invest in the market. Microsoft literally started it when dealing with COD. All of these companies have a history of paying for both content and exclusive deals. Sony just happens to get more success than Microsoft, making Xbox fanboys pretend Microsoft never does it. For example, I do not recall a single Xbox calling out MS for paying EA to make FIFA legends exclusive to Xbox for about 2-3 years. Seriously, in what bubble do you live in? Spider-Man will have far more mind-share than anything Starfield can ever hope to achieve. Outside of gaming social media, more people know about Spider-Man and with a movie coming out, Sony will no doubt promote the game, with the movie. Reaching more people.
