Allright, thanks for the advice :)
Guess I should start saving up for a new processor.. I have to change half of my computer then -.-
So i'm basically fucked with an E8400..
Among the clutter of today's games, this game still shines, despite it's aging graphics. It is one of the best games I have ever played, and will play over and over again.
I know Darkness is based on comics and I have finished the first part. It was a horror for me, had some scary scenes in it (that hellish place).
Cell shading doesn't fit the tone of the game. I would have preferred the look of the original game over this. Also, it doesn't quite seem the same game as it was. Just feels different.
It's not so much the cell shading as it is.. more generic?
I mean, sure, you have demon arms to rip enemies apart but the game feels overall less "meaty" than the first one.
And there are too many sounds going off at once. I remember the first Darkness, you could HEAR the heart being eaten, blood splashes, flesh tearing.
All I hear is bang-bang, train, more gunshots, irrelevant screaming.. Tends to draw you away from the eerine...
I can see the knife is going to be fun.. Muahaha!
I didn't know an hd5770 has 3GB VRAM.. Pretty much pointless for that card due to it's 128bit memory bus.. Maybe a bit more useful in crossfire, but who knows..
I hope it wont kill dualcore CPUs, I have no money to upgrade my MB, CPU and RAM right now.. I hope my E8400 can cope..
I sure hope it will be more optimized for dual core processors, unlike BC2.
What is next for the poor bastard who have to PROGRAM all of this?
I think I should give it a shot then ;)
This isn't Burnout. This is some facebook shit.
What kind of monster PC is required to run this beauty?
I don't want this, I want a full blown Burnout game. Not this Flash shit.
God damn reminds me of crysis..
Want to know what is annoying in Modern Warfare 2? My friend when you play against him.. Fucking knife stalker :@
I support your standing and I agree with your statement that ego is the only drawback.
As a BC2 player myself, I do every single thing you named in your comment, but because I'm an egoistic SOB, I always try to maintain a good K/D while playing for the objective. It's quite an effective way of winning, I might add, provided you don't go hunting for kills but kill everything/one on your path to the objective.
Winning with a bad K/D = Pyrrhic victory - doesn't make me feel happy as I feel like I didn't contribute to the win at all. Face it, the K/D ratio tells the performance of the player, and is a basis of everything to come. If you just can't kill your way through to the objective, you lose. If you can't support your team while say, defending the objective, you're going to lose.
Don't tell me getting killed 20 times while barely managing to get 5 kills d...
Doesn't look bad at all. On the contrary, from what I can see, it looks awesome for a console version. Not too far from the PC version.
