GTX 460 768 and E8400, running on High preset at 1680x1050 at ~60fps. Really amazing.
Surprisingly, my Core2Duo E8400 @ 3.85GHz runs BF3's campaing without a hitch. No bottlenecking so far.
The MW Vinyl doesn't suit the new M3. I'll get this game, only for my fetish - old muscle cars.
I can't wait to play Arkham City, but Uncharted 3 I will unfortunately miss (PS3 #2 dead).
Even Arkham Asylum was more engaging, challenging and fun than the AC games. Arkham City seems to raise the bar to a whole new level from what I've seen and read.
I am still looking forward to Revelations, to finishing the story. But that's it. It's gameplay doesn't intrigue me that much anymore.
I still have faith in Uncharted 3 an...
Good thing the pirated PC version will probably unlock the DLC. Like in every UE3 game, a simple notepad edit will unlock you the DLC content ;)
You know what I want? I want this game to be harder.. It's pointless to run away from your pursuers if you can just massacre them all. I want the game to be fucking hard if the guards discover you. It's all just pointless so far. They find you, you kill them, you go on. I haven't died not once in all the games released so far. That's how easy this is.
I know but I was kind of under the impression that it's a racing game, which doesn't have 64 players and destruction to process.. Ah well, I'm either done with gaming in a short while, or I rob a bank and upgrade my PC.
This game is more CPU intensive than BF3?
If only they did release it.. I have spent countless hours on RDR PS3. I'd do it again on PC, possibly even more than I did.
Is it good?
I'd love to play a game where the russians are the protagonists. The marketplace is getting oversaturated with americans-the-good-guys wars. It's kind of boring and annoying already.
I want a game where the americans are the antagonists. That would be refreshing.
Let's just hope they don't actually ruin the performance with future patches like they did with BC2. Only after 11 patches did the game run reasonably okay for a console port (bear in mind I'm still a dual-core user so it may have been irrelevant to you quad-core users).
So far it works good even on my dual-core, but I'd be happy if it would run even better, since I'm 10-15 frames shy of hitting 60fps.
Oh will you PC elitists shut up. Honestly, not everything is in resoultion and framerate. Crysis on consoles looks better from what I have seen, and I have finished every Crysis game available.
It's not just about technical specs, it's about the artistic style. And Crysis on consoles has just that. Consoles may not be able to push grass and vegetation to fill up the entire map, but they can artistically make the whole map look better with better lighting and effects,...
I don't understand why they would be ashamed of Bad Company 2. Sure, the coding could have been better on PC, but it's one hell of a game. In my opinion, it's gameplay is better than BF3's.
It may have been a console oriented title, but it did so many things right that I just don't feel in BF3.
None the less, I'm looking forward to BF3.
I was playing on the High preset. Now I'm playing on Ultra and the framerate didn't change significantly. The game's not a resource hog as everyone thought it would be.
But still go for the 560.. It's still a little bit better card of the two.
PC beta is also riddled with bugs. Inability to aim after reload, black screen when using a specific weapon, graphical glitches like a blueish flash that happens in an instant then disappears.. But on the good side, the game's framerate is good. I get 40fps outside and 70fps inside with a GTX 460 768mb and a Core2Duo e8400.
I just want to say, is the player model Popeye? What's with the huge bulge on the sleeve?
AMAZING, EARTH SHATTERING! 4 extra MINUTES? Wow, how did they come up with such geniality?
No, seriously, this is news? What's next, different camera angles during cutscenes?
C2D E8400 @ 3.85GHz and a GTX 460. I'm one of those 85% who want to upgrade :P
I was just thinking the same thing. There is far too little control over the player and actions we see in BF3 (and other games as well, especially MW3). It's just kill a few guys, go to this place, QTE, kill a few guys, go here, cut-scene. There isn't any fun in doing anything. I have recently replayed Crysis 2. It's absolutely fun to play it. Different approaches to gameplay and a small amount of cut scenes. You actually feel like you are playing something instead of watching a m...
