So wait, it's not coming out on PC as well?
I'd rather they fix texture streaming problems which causes short freezes.
Yeah, every BTK weapon is overpowered.
"Everything that had potential for laughs and/or badassery seems to have been rationalized, dulled down or taken out altogether" - I agree. There's an undeniable fact that Bad Company 2 is actually MORE FUN. A testament to that fact is that 60% of my gaming time is still spent in BC2, while 20% is BF3 and the other 20% are other games like MW2, GTA, mostly Batman AC and such.
I actually didn't find anything wrong with the game, it was quite fun for me. Until we get another Burnout this is basically as good as it gets for arcade racers.
Performance balancing :) Freezing issues (for 2-3 seconds then unfreezes) Makes the game unplayable for me.
Unfortunately the patch didn't fix SHIT.
I don't know what he was smoking, the game is a 7/10 minimum. I'd give it an 8 myself.
Great, naked chicks. Just what hardcore RPG no lifers need to see.
I think it's quite a necessary scope for actually recognizing players in the distance, instead of running like a headless chicken and getting your body filled with bullets by a sniper.
So far I haven't got many positive comments about the multiplayer.
First of all, spotting enemies is pretty damn hard, resulting in a lot of camping (I finally understand why they call it camperfield), some of the weapons are overpowered (F2000 comes to mind), enemies can just outrun your bullets and you lose sight of them quite easily..
So far the only weapon that is of use is the RPG/SMAW, weapons are quite inaccurate (if you get spotted by a sniper, yo...
The problem isn't the cars, but how the game wants us to use them. It's absolutely fun to drive around in high speed, running away from the police and mowing down pedestrians, but once you start a mission.. It's not fun to drive anymore, it's only a chore. I remember in the earlier GTAs (Vice City and SA) - I was collecting different rare cars such as the white admiral in VC, in SA I absolutely loved being able to buy a monster truck.. This feeling just isn't there in the ...
I seriously hope this is true. Bring it!
I don't think that just adding up the ridiculousness of the game would make it better. It might actually make the game worse. They might push it too far and make a very disjointed and not enjoyable experience.
Everyone else on the road.. *looks around, no one is there*.. seems to be enjoying our presence here.
Both Lance and Victor are dead.. So no, they're not in the game. As for Tommy - awesome. I wish he was in the game.
Here it goes again, a trailer every few months which reveals almost nothing but short clips of how awesome the game is, hyping it up beyond reason and then waiting day by day for the game to be released. That's what GTA means to me - suffering until the game is finally released. Then all of a sudden, childish happiness when I start it up. 2012 seems so far away..
Thanks for the reply. I guess I'll be playing BC2 until I get a new CPU.
Can anyone test, if they can, how well does an e8400 (or any other good dual-core CPU) do in multiplayer? I have finished the SP campaign and it ran remarkably well on ultra (minus MSAA). I was wondering how well would it run on big maps before I decide to purchase BF3..
I'd rather they focus on an epic singleplayer story and gameplay. There isn't much room for innovation in multiplayer anymore.
