It doesn't even look "this-next-gen", let alone the-next-gen-after.
Don't worry dude. BF3 beta ran like dog crap on my GTX 460, when the final game came out I played it on Ultra without MSAA up until last month when I got the HD7850. Trust me, don't discredit the 7850 yet, it's a great card and it will stay that way for quite some time.
Meh, it's only alpha, performance will increase drastically by the final release. I'm not worried, I have an HD7850 myself.
Unreal Engine 3 is my favorite engine because of the way it looks. It's not plasticky, it's one of the only engines that's meaty and artsy. You can't say that it looks bad because even the cheap games that use it have pretty decent graphics.
Unreal engine 4 will, by my guess, be a bit more on the realistic side but it's still shaping up to be one of the best engines.
The only thing that is true in your statement is that consoles can be optimized for gaming more than PCs can. The fact that the next-gen consoles are more like PCs means just the opposite of what you've said. PCs are still more powerful and what they lack in optimization they compensate with brute performance. You're telling me that today's PCs can't run a freaking football game? Explain the fact that most of the games shown at E3 were on PCs. Metal Gear Solid V ran on PC. Bat...
That is a bullshit statement and everybody knows that.
Crysis 1 was excellent, Crysis 2 was good, Crysis 3 was on the border between good and bad and they should stop there. What's left story wise for Crysis 4 anyway? They can't continue developing the story because they finished it.
I hope to god they don't make another one. Crysis 3's story seemed rushed, no introduction to the world, no backstory.. Nothing. Just guns blazing from the beginning. The game had no personality, just pretty graphics and mediocre game...
Finally I'll get the freaking ACW-R.
Same thing but I buried two 60gb ones. Great consoles, but man those chip solders were the weak point of this generation, both for Xbox 360 and PS3 (the first ones - ironically, the ones that cost the most).
I'd still like to get my hands on a PS3, if I could ever find one for cheap. It has the best games by far.
Oh Kojima pretty please, you have the game running on PC already, I don't see what's the problem.
The day I get to play MGS5 on PC will be the greatest day of my life.
Maybe he wants to see if it will bottleneck the Titan.
At that moment, coupled with the crowd's reaction all I did was stand up in my room at 5am and started clapping. I was skeptical about how Sony could overdo Microsoft this year at E3 with Microsoft's strong games showing, but they have. And by a lot and only with a couple of sentences. Well done, it made me proud I grew up with Playstation (even after 2 of my PS3s got the dreaded YLOD). Well freaking done.
The "new" weapons are old weapons with different names. It's obviously the M40A5 as Scout Elite, PDW-R as CZ-3A1 and not to mention the others (obviously M16 and M249). The confusion can be attributed to EA's decision not to pay weapon manufacturers for licenses.
That's bullshit. They must release this on PC. After all, the original was on PC and that's definitely the only good game in the entire series. Give it a go Lionhead, you definitely won't lose anything with it.
Why is everyone so disgruntled about Sutherland being Snake? The man is a good fucking choice. Sure, I love Hayter as Snake as much as any of you, but Hayter was Solid Snake first and Big Boss isn't Solid Snake.
Let Kiefer do his freaking job. He's good at it and I can see him as Big Boss, Kojima made a good choice.
I'd wet my bed in excitement if that would ever happen. RDR is easily one of the greatest games of the generation and I'd like to replay it over and over again on PC.
Come on Rockstar, do you hate money?
Question: Are the disagrees for me liking the game somewhat or about the comment I made about the PC version?
Worse - they even tried to MODIFY UE2 instead of just going for the most basic UE3 available at the time.
Didn't you play Max Payne 3? If they would use the same engine as MP3 did, the PC version would be superb.
Each and every one of them from the Pierce Brosnan era. Now that was a good Bond guy.
