I'm still rocking a GTX 460 and I'm only loosely thinking about getting a HD7850. I've had the 460 since 2011 and the only game it can't run on high settings @ 1080p is Crysis 3, which by itself is not really upgrade worthy.
So no, you don't need to upgrade every year to play the latest games..

There is little reality in fiction, especially when it comes to superheroes. Batman is most definitely my favorite character because he is as intelligent as he is intimidating and strong. He represents the best a REAL person "can" be (agile, strong, smart). And to top it all off, he literally kicked the assess of every single bad and good guy.

For most of these controllers I was too young to remember how they felt, but from my standpoint I can honestly say that I just can't wrap my head (or hands for that matter) around the 360 controller. What's wrong with UE3? It fits perfectly with games like these and Bioshock. It sort of has that artsy feeling to it missing from other engines. It's got to be my favorite engine all round! I couldn't even imagine Batman Arkham on another engine..

Whats commendable in this game is that at least the developers tried to get native speakers for foreign languages. The part in Sarajevo with Serbs speaking Serbian was a real surprise, considering big budget games like freaking GTAIV didn't even have correctly formulated sentences in Serbian.
The game itself isn't that bad. It's good for occasional fun times sniping.
Well perhaps the younger batman had a more armor plated suit which slowed him down (but was also of more use with the best assassins of the world out to get him) and the "newer" suit from Arkham Asylum/City is part of his idea to compensate armor for flexibility? It's all just a matter of perspective :D
Even the grappling hook could be interpreted as too dangerous or life threatening so that's why he discarded it. Let your mind fill in the gaps :)

They have a good idea with this, but let's hope their execution is top notch as well.
If someone wants to pirate the game, they will always find a way. It's the developer's/publisher' s fault for not being able to see that, it's their fault they impose such strict DRM that does nothing except complicate things for people who get this game legally.
Piracy and hacking is a fire which strict DRM only spreads.
