Watch me.
I knew I should have sprung for the 7870 instead of the 7850. Oh well, I'll OC brutally and I'm there. Now, lets see final build CPU benchmarks, those are more worrying than GPU requirements.
I'd say where's my PC version?
This just reminded me that I got the game on Origin. I'll go try it.
I had fun playing the first one so I expect the same from the next one.
That's what you get for not thinking things through. It's like logic takes last place in everything.
Fuck no. Half life needs to stay multiplatform and in Valve's hands. EVERYONE needs to know how it ends.
Assuming Valve ever gets to making HL3..
That's the key to success. That's how a game becomes a league of it's own, if it's good enough. Just look at Counter Strike.
Doesn't mean Batman didn't have them, maybe he just never used em. Think outside the box a little bit. They can't dumb down the gameplay just because it's a prequel.
Smells like laptop requirements.
Considering they're still using UE2.5 as the engine, it's highly unlikely. And I'm playing it on Ultra, it's a great looking game, no doubt about it. Just not quite next-gen.
It looks bonkers on Ultra. It's amazing, by far one of the best games to play this gen. Not THE BEST, but still there somewhere.
Yeah, the only thing they fucked up was Sam's voice actor. If Ironside didn't want to do it anymore, they should have found someone similar, not someone who sounds like he's 20.
Other than that, the game is excellent. I do miss the wall-split though..
This is seriously too low for a game this rich with content and good.
The only difference would be the price of the motherboard needed for the 4820, which is a hell of a lot higher than a 1150 board.
I'd get the 4770k and proper cooling.
Only get the mobo + 4820 if you're planning on upgrading to a six core Ivy-E later on, because those CPUs are really the only reason to have the 2011 socket in the first place.
@SuperLupe
There's more than just graphics involved in the overall look of the game. GT6 and Forza 5 both look stiff and I don't like either of them very much. They both look sterile and dull.
I said Driveclub looks more like NFS Shift because it does. It has better sense of speed, the animations are much more lively and it looks far more vibrant and colorful. Neither one of you answered me when I asked on what grounds does Forza look that much better...
I seriously don't see the "big gap" you see. Forza 5 and GT6 look more alike than Forza 5 and DriveClub. DriveClub reminds me of NFS Shift, but a hell of a lot better.
Please, enlighten me, on what grounds does Forza 5 look THAT much better than Driveclub?
If I ever get the dough to get one. Spent too much money upgrading my PC over the years.
Good god this game looks good.
I'm wondering, an i5 3570k @ 4GHz can bottleneck a HD7850 in 64p maps on Ultra without AA in BF3, how much fps can an i5 3570k really produce in BF4?
