They aren't remaking 3 though. Only 1 & 2.
FYI "next gen" titles are being rendered at 720p and then aggresively upscaled to 4k. Look like shit in motion.
just want to say that it is 30€ on the xbox store.
There is always an option for it down the line, knowing Rockstar. I suppose the PS4 version is now the closest to PC the game has ever been, so it shouldnt be too difficult then.
However, I think the PC port did not happen because the game engine falls apart at more than 30fps. We'll see if it comes to pass sometime down the line.
Are you affiliated with the game in any way? Because this doesn't seem like anything special and I can't see why else you would prop the game up based on what is on show here. It looks like a mobile game you'd play only once and decide you have better things to do.
isnt this old news anyway? did they not say that Microsoft were generally more interested in Rising back in the old days?
From the mouth of Snake himself: https://youtu.be/vkdKNuzO1R...
I mean, I understand the benefits of 60fps and always prefer that over 30fps if it is an option, but the reality is that 30fps has always been and will always be a minimum playable framerate. As this generation goes on 30fps games will become more often simply because the devs will want to push more stuff on screen and gameplay wise and a solid 30 is better than variable 60. Frame generation might improve things, but the lower the framerate the worse it looks / works. We're already seeing...
I mean, the creative director on Dead Space and Callisto is the same guy, is it not? I kind of think that this is Dead Space in all but IP.
Great story, not so great open world design. If it were mission driven like Mafia 1 it would have fared better. Same as RDR2 imho.
Shooting was clunkier than it is in GTAV though, but overall I love GTA4 much much more. I liked the driving, physics, atmosphere, and story more than I did GTAV's. Driving felt like I was driving toy cars in 5.
Pretty much every FC game on PC was like this
Better than remaster era
Well, definitely yes and no. It's amazing on the first playthrough, but the game literally takes control from you every 30 seconds with unskippable cutscenes. Still the best shooting anyone has ever done, but damn it doesn't let you play half the time.
That's up to consumers, ain't it? Personally, I don't think it'll ever reach what it was supposed to be in any way.
Hate to break it to you but you are not going to get that from a 400$ box.
I'd expect the same performance as Jedi Fallen Order with a slightly bigger dependency on the CPU - those two games had the same exact problems on all platforms. I'd recommend to install it on an SSD to mitigate the I/O issues.
they wouldn't dare
AFAIK, they finally hit their stride with Jedi Fallen Order and Squadrons. Dunno what's going to happen to that now. Ubisoft may get the benefit of the doubt at this stage, but I honestly haven't had any fun with Ubisoft games since when R6 Siege was fresh, and that didn't last all that long in my case.
I mean, some categories yes, it deserved it - especially the accessibility one. But for storytelling? Game of the year? Nah, at least in my opinion.
The story arc is finished though, I dont see why they should forcefully continue a thread that does not have a place to go anymore. Those attempts rarely succeed if you take a look at all the movie franchises raised from the grave just to be beaten down into it again.
