There are lots of great NES and SNES games, regardless of where you play them. Fun never gets old or goes out of style.

If people don't apply the patch then it isn't going to do much good helping to find hacked PS3's. But hopefully it makes it more difficult to install custom firmware for people who do upgrade to 3.56.
I think that the author is missing the big picture here. Microsoft doesn't appear to be worried about losing their old franchises and customers because that's not the market they're concentrating on. The exclusives we're going to see on 360 this year and probably next year are most likely going to be mainly for Kinect. And Microsoft doesn't care what the "core" audience thinks about it, because the core audience isn't the audience throwing millions of dollars...
wesley, those old PS2 games didn't always have perfect balance in their weapons before they were released. It's that people learned to live with the imbalances as a mechanic of the game, and we developed strategies that minimized the impact.
Also, when it came to shooters on the PS2 there wasn't exactly as much emphasis on the multiplayer aspects because multiplayer wasn't as prevalent. But even with local multiplayer, everyone was typically on a level playing...
I'm really enjoying the game, but there are some things about it that frustrate me. I agree that it is a car encyclopedia. There's tons of stuff there just for car lovers.
I'm ambivalent about the menus. I've seen worse, so no real gripes.
What I like best is that for me it's the first Gran Turismo that makes me feel like I'm driving that fast. I spend a lot of time in the quick races just because I can pick it up, play for a few minut...

Exactly correct, Theonik. I've been involved in two cases concerning EULA where the company I used to work for sued because of EULA violations. In one case the company won, in the other case they lost.

That's awesome! The game has an excellent premise and a lot of rich backstory already provided by the DC universe. I hope those who play the game really enjoy it.
