Great month for gamers R&C and DS3, these two games will distract me from thinking to much about U4 less then a month to go.
Kind of ironic that Nintendo is the reason Sony's playstation became the dominant console by refusing to work with them, I would say Sony definitely got the better of them and have no reason to respond to the NX since they have been the industry leader for a very long time now.
When people argue about sales numbers this one of the many reasons as to why they are important. A small developer with limited resources having to make concessions, It's understandable to see why they would want to target the larger audience. As far as success goes wether your a small or big studio nothing guarantees you success. For a small developer the risk of failure can be devastating and it's understandable why they would want to minimize those risks.

Sure Sony's motives for not to giving true BC for PS1 and PS2 on the PS4 are suspect then again Sony has offered BC for three generations without anyone making a fuss. This notion that MS is some how any less calculating in their motives is naive at best BC was used as a strategy by MS otherwise it should have been a feature that was there since launch day.

Just because you don't like it doesn't mean everyone else has to hate it. Should people not support this game or Yooka-Laylee when very few plat-former's, are getting developed these days and if there is no interest developers may not even bother making them in the future.

It's sad that the developer has to make a statement addressing the length of the game, when we all know that linear games are not these massive games. On top of that it is priced fairly enough and yet we still get people hating this fanboy nonsense has gotten out hand.
DS3 is getting great reviews I'm glad it's getting love despite some complaining of the difficulty and steep learning curve.
So the quality of games is somehow tied to the longevity of the game? QB is 8hrs. long 10hrs. with the cut scenes are you going to say QB is a let down because it is a relatively short game as well. I must admit I am a noob to the Soul series Bloodborne got me hooked and now I want to give DS3 a go. My only hesitation was the speed I had heard that soul games where a lot more slow pace but this seems to be a hybrid of both games might pick this up now.
There are many possible GOTY contenders this year is going to be epic U4 will be one of those games IMO.
Mass Effect is out of the running that game is now a 2017 release.

Let me be devil's advocate there is nothing wrong with being number two or three but here's the thing they were number one. They have more experience than their competitors in the video game industry. So they went from being industry leaders and innovators to chasing the competition to finally not competing at all and becoming a niche product.
So yes if they make a profit they will be successful but if we are being honest what is level of success they are looking for...
Their track record speaks for it self I have been a fan since Crash Bandicoot and I haven't been let down yet. Until they fail or prove me otherwise they have my support and it's a day one buy for me.

Relax how does this affect you, if you already game on another console. Many gamers still enjoy Nintendo games and if they had the option to play all their games including third party AAA games that weren't gimped they would do so. Sadly I don't think Nintendo will release a system to compete head to head with Sony or MS.
