This why I have stopped giving any F's about reviewer's and their opinions. I have more trust in the gaming community and what they say collectively than these fools. Hell even youtube reviewers do a better job than these so called journalists.
Some people just wanted to hate this game no matter what, I didn't know why but the media made sure to tells it sucked they just never told us why since very little of the game had been shown to anyone including the media. Going by some of the things some game journalist have said I now know why they hated the game. Gender politics it's odd that so many of these people want inclusion yet with the same breath denounce an old trope and spout their hatred of it.

Some people where actively hating on the game and used the same criticisms of game to say see the game will suck no matter what. Despite Sony Bend having a good track record and Sony giving them more time to polish the game. Fanboys always go to extremes no reasonable person was expecting GOTY but I also knew it wasn't going to be a hot pile of garbage like some hoped it would be.
Nothing you have mention has impacted sales so gamers obviously care more about games and new IP's than anything on your list otherwise MS would be selling more consoles. We get it you like the xbox better but without getting into preference and bias the PS4 has more variety and current games and that's why they are getting killed by the PS4.

Some people have no common sense of course 3rd party games sell more they are on multiple systems and PC not only that but they are the typical crap that get's recycled yearly. The top selling games without fail are always COD, FIFA and NBA2K that's not saying much about the point you are trying to prove.
The xbox x can't do all things that a PC can bottom line is that in the long term your better off investing in a good PC that you can game on instead of a console that will become obsolete in a few years. Unless you absolutely love MS and their ecosystem there is no way that buying an xbox x is better than building a powerful PC that you could invest more money into that will payoff later with only upgrading what you need as you go and will keep being more powerful than any console can.
MS and their fanboys power has never been the real issue, the 360 was under powered vs the PS3 and still managed to compete for various reasons. Games sell consoles not specs yes it's cheaper to just get a xbox x than building a PC on a budget with comparable specs but if money is not an issue your better off building a PC even if you spend more money you can upgrade a PC you can't do that with consoles. Some people are seriously disturbed I have zero problems playing a female character if that is the protagonist, I must admit that when given the option to create my own character it's often a male. There are certain aspects of the Japanese culture that are disturbing in relation to their objectification of women in particular young adolescents. As the saying goes sex sells and to delude ourselves that, that doesn't happen in the west is stupid but not with seemingly under age looking girls. There is some anime, video games, and manga that would make any sensible normal man cringe at how blatant and questionable it is about what they are trying to portray.
If you like the game that is fine but given the quality of Bioware's past games it's hard to justify giving them a pass. It's not so much that Anthem is a terrible broken game there is enjoyable aspects but as a whole it's a huge let down specially given how EA hyped the game.
Bioware has been on a steady decline and has worsen with the acquisition from EA, Dragon Age Inquisition was ok but they have gotten worse with each subsequent release. The Mass Effect trilogy was leagues better than anything they have done since. To each their own if you like Andromeda but you can't deny that the quality of their games has gone down.

I don't have either games so it's a win for me, I didn't cry when they had Until Dawn or other games I already own you win some you lose some that's the way it is.
I get that the value proposition of cutting the PS3 and Vita out of PS Plus doesn't make it worthwhile to some but to be frank I had a PS3 and never bothered to boot it up even to get these free games. I rather they give me greater discounts on PS4 games, a free movie here or there or maybe add another PS4 or PSVR game instead but if they don't I won't bitch and moan about it because I'm paying for access to online gaming everything else is a bonus.
PS plus was never about getting free games it was about online gaming that is what you are paying for. If you want to complain you can do so to MS since they opened the door for that BS. I like getting free games sometimes they are good sometimes they are not but that shouldn't be the reason you have PS plus the determining factor should be weather you play online games or not.
To each their own EA has been on a massive bad streak and not even Bioware could change that, people are free to like what they want but this game deserves every bit of criticism it's getting and if you don't like that well then tough. I don't like to be told what to like and won't tell others either but knowing EA I seriously doubt that those criticizing the game are wrong.
Sure Nintendo makes good looking games for their hardware but put those same games on other systems and PC and nobody would be writing these kinds of articles.
