My brother-in law when he helped me unpack my ps3. "do you have a wireless adapter?" nope, its included. "oh, cool" "did you get a battery pack for your controllers?" "thats in there also" "damn looks like the ps3 isnt that much more expensive afterall"
That was basically a word for word convorsation. People dont care too much about having things like that included, but when it is, it is appreciated that they dont have to spend ...
seems like their going a bit overboard with the merchandising. I can understand the marketing blitz, but it seems like their trying to milk cash out of people in every corner.
I agree that it sucked. It doesnt come off that its supposed to be an arcade style racing game. I played it thinking it was supposed to be a regular rally game. I cant stand that arcade style steering, its almost like you dont have to actually drive to race, just hold the gas.
yea it was pretty bad. No brakes, steering, etc needed to play.
picked it up the day i got the ps3 after seeing it on the demo kiosk. My problem with it is that its so repetative. Dunno, maybe to 'arcady' for my taste, I cant stand any of the ridge racers for that matter. I'm more of a GT type. As for getting rid of it, I'm waiting for a game I want at blockbuster to trade it in.
I own motorstorm, but ive yet to understand why people think its fun.
I own a ps3 but not a 360, i wasnt sure if it was capable of that or not. I dont see why they wouldnt? There has been multiple versions of games in the past.
Why dont they offer the multi disc version, and then a version on HD-DVD for those that have the add on? I remember they used to do that for multi cd/single dvd games. Or can the 360 not use the hd-dvd add on for games?
If the main bit of information is over, this really wasnt very interesting.
My local target used to have hd-dvd and blu ray next to each other, each with 3 verticle rows of movies with an information display between them. Today blueray has 4 of the rows and hd-dvd has 2, not a huge change, but something i noticed. My local best buy doesnt seem to have changed other than all the hd-dvd being marked down, but it could have been a sale.
If this wasnt a NEWS site it would be funny with how many titles include something like 'how to save <insert random console/product>' 'OMG <insert random console/product> is DOOOMED!' '<5/10/4234> ways to save <insert random console/product>'
Real news is supposed to deliver unbiased information that the masses can read and form their own opinion. Naming this website 'Gossip for gamers' would be more appropriate.
this looks like a couple 8 year olds arguing on the playground 'my dad can beat up your dad' 'NU UH!, my dad is way better!'
grow the hell up.
seems like this is an easy way to make nearly the same game for each console and still give each console an 'exclusive' I dont see how the game can be so much improved over the first if the other just came out.
glad to know thats solved. i was loosing sleep.
Anyone know where I can find the _news_?
exactly what im saying
'This is great news for anyone who's disappointed with the current version of the controller, which lacks rumble, leaving many feeling that the controller feels too light and thus cheap.'
It doesnt feel cheap because its light, it feels cheap because it flexes when you hold it tight and feels like its barely screwed together.
I hope with a new controller they beef up the plastic they use for it. The sixaxis controllers dont feel as strong as the ps2 controllers. I have 2 of them and both of them are very 'flexy'. Just feels cheap to me. Im not talking about them being light.
Expected answers. One would assume if your selling well on both formats, you wouldnt care who 'wins' as the money is still in your pocket at the end of the day. His razor analogy was a good one.
I'm a blu-ray supporter but as some have said, I dont think porn is as big of an influence now days as people make it out. There are so many more ways that people can now get porn than there was in the VHS/Beta days (back then you had film - as in a reel with a projector -, theater and magazines). To me this is a bonus, but only as much as another group giving their support.
hasn't their been level/map editors for years? And if this is different, explain how.
