Oblivion was fine on 1 disc, huge gameplay and the same will be with Mass Effect. Blue Dragon and the other games use huge amounts of CGI and haven't gotten with the times of using the game engine to do your cut-scenes. DVD size the reason why 360 isn't succeeding in Japan, hell no.
The 360 was already doing miserable in Japan even before the press and rumors of the RROD started to spread. The launch there was dismal.
Bioshock is made by Irrational Games(2K Boston), but I agree with what you said. I think MS want to keep this game for the 360/PC.
This is starting to get as bad as MGS4 for 360 rumors. Even Ken Levine said NO PS3 version and the rumor has been killed many times yet this "analyst" seemed to of missed all that...
Graphics are the biggest let down of this game. It's not Halo 2 in HD, however with the amount of dev time this game has had and with Gears of War and Bioshock setting the console graphics bar you would expect the flagship 360 title to at least meet those..
From everything I've seen Killzone 2 looks to be the new king of FPS graphics for consoles, we will know for sure when it ships.. But if Killzone 2 can match the multiplayer and get their story in check it will be the Halo ...
I don't think it deserves a 10/10 and if it does then I would expect an 11/10 for GT.
so I don't think it will go multiplatform. They say they are starting a new racing game, so I think whatever that is will be multiplatform garbage now maybe it will be PGR5.. Looks like the 360 has nothing after PGR4 to compete with GT.
If the 360 turns into nothing but multiplatform crap games that will be very disappointing.. Thank you Sony for actually pushing the bar instead of lowering as MS seems to be doing every since Gears of War.
I did not see this coming.. MS loses another partner that was developing mainly for the 360 platform and now it's looking like it's all going to be multiplatform garbage..

I totally agree!!! I was hoping they would fix this in the PS3 version but it sounds like they didn't..
It doesn't over power the gameplay so you're not all wrapped up with the narrative.. But if you read the books and dig into the Halo universe a bit it's actually a great sci-fi story.. Maybe when the film comes out people will understand it better..

Yes, the graphics are not jaw dropping but they certainly aren't Halo 2 in HD. I play on my 61" at 720p and the game looks great. I've not noticed jaggies but I do notice some fairly flat looking ground textures. But things like the grass moving and if you brush up against bushes they move, the little stuff like that makes up for some of the flatness. The game felt like a Halo game and that's just what I wanted.

Because it has absolutely nothing to do with the console wars. MS isn't tied to HD-DVD and aren't forcing it onto the people buying their game console. I am thankful for this because I will not be buying an HD-DVD add-on, as I will never buy a Blu-ray movie when I can stream it in HD from my network.

The movie analogy is perfect and when you put it in that context I believe the game deserves the score it's gotten. Neither Bungie or Microsoft has come out and said that this will be the best game ever made. It will sell better than any game but show me one post where Bungie or MS has said that "Halo 3 will be the best game ever made". Fanboys have praised the game but you aren't going to take that as an official comment. Halo 3 was what I expected and worth the price!
