Another great 360 article degraded into a PS3 vs 360 graphics debate. Wake me up when we can actually post an article that doesn't turn into a flamewar.
I could care less of 2 mediocre games are bundled with the console.. The price is my bottom line.
If for some reason Sony does lower the cost of the PS3, you can count on MS lowering theres. But until that time, I think bundles is all we will see. The cheaper production costs puts them in a position to out price Sony at every turn.
However, one bundle I'd like to see is MS bundle the HD-DVD drive with the system and keep the same price point it does now.
that when Microsoft does exactly what other companies do the headline reads "PAYOFF". Fvck that! Sony does the exact same things! This is called business and it is no different when MGS or FF or whatever stays exclusive to the platform.. These people are in it to make money and the whole BS line that people develope and stick with PS3 because it's a priveledge and out of respect is complete garbage.

I do believe this game is now a PS3 exclusive.. If plans change it will bomb on the 360, I think everyone has written this game off anyway and the mood I seem to get from major Xbox sites that FR pissed away their welcome with all their Halo and Gears bashing they did..
No room on my list for this game with Call of Duty 4, Timeshift and Blacksite Area 51 for my FPS needs this holiday. Maybe will rent this game after some reviews are out.

but the PS3 has wireless guitar and the 360 doesn't.. I think that makes it a no sale on the 360 side of things.
He doesn't want to directly answer the question but yes, all signs point to the Entertainment Division of MS turning a profit in 08. Nintendo is the only one of the 3 making a profit at this point. Sony is doing well with the PS2 but they are still losing on the PS3.

Just like Bioshock and Dead Rising 2, I keep hearing these rumors over and over and every single boneheaded thing you just said could be applied to these 2 titles.
The PS3 can keep MGS and FF.. I will by MGS4 for my PS3 but FF is not my kind of game so I could care less.

They are only comparing 2007 data. This article does not state that they are neck-in-neck in total sales but mearly that they are neck in neck for this years sales. I would of expected more from Sony since it was their launch year and the hype was there. This does partially indicate that by saying that it had a first solid 4 weeks but after that not so much. You would think with the brand name and the already existing PS2 fanbase that it would be blowing the 360 out of the water, but it's...

The 360 will be out 2 years this November and it's sales numbers are on the rise(minus Japan) while the PS3 and Wii are falling. How much does a console need to sell in order for it to "blow up"? =)
This is one aspect of the game. I watched another trailer that was all gameplay and the battles were action packed, also there is another one where you are driving vehicles which is cool.. This is an RPG game with action elements..
I spend a lot of time watching CGI footage in Final Fantasy as well as lots of dialogue in Oblivion.. I don't think those games are boring..
