Fanboys are bad no matter what side of the fence they are... I see this thread has a lot of PS3 fanboys posting in it, yet you seem to ignore them all and go right for TheMART?

HD-DVD drive was not included because it is too slow to play games. Not having an HDD in every system means it can't cache the data like the slow Blu-Ray drive has to do. This was stated by MS themselves.
MS uses it's own propriety wireless protocol.. Have you checked the battery in your controller? It is absolute BS if you say you are losing sync with your controller, unless you actually have a defective system. I have problems with my PS3 controller going out of sync but never have I seen a 360 lose sync just because.. nor have there been any widespread reports of this being a problem.
Man there are some serious fanboys on this site that just can't keep their mouth shut and basically spew nothing but LIES!
This game is AAA all the way, top notch game and very fun! I wish this map pack was a little less than 400 points, but it sure is nice to have games that keep expanding and adding gameplay.

Sounds to me like a little podcast envy.. I don't know anyone who listens to the XBL Radio thing.. But besides.. He works for MS so he is always going to show some bias. But I've heard him slam some decisions MS made and the reaction he had to the price of the 120gig sounded like something I would say(outrageous!).
Anyway, if I'm looking for some serious non-biased reporting on the 360 I don't turn to his podcast for it.
The 360 currently has the largest install base. The other systems may catch up by the time MGS see's the light of day, but right now the 360 has the jump on everyone. Like I said before whichever system it comes out on I will have it!
Wow, this thread has some defensive PS3 fanboys in it. To go out of your way to insult and make all these inaccurate comments/assumptions just proves that the 360 is an intimidating machine. I wouldn't read too much into this, but I also wouldn't completely rule out this title not coming to the 360. Whichever console it comes out on I will be covered. But I would like to have it on the 360 just for the achievements and the great controller.

These numbers are just easy to get. The fanboys will always run with these and make it sound like one console is better than the other. This is just a small snapshot of all consoles sale. Japan used to be the "center of gaming" but it isn't anymore. The US and UK are where it's at and you have to pay to get those numbers. Is anyone really surprised an American made console is not doing well against 2 Japanese ones? Fanboy fodder I say!
I think this will be the first "Dragon" game to actually do it right! I've played Eragon on the 360 and it was terrible imo, but from what I've seen of this it's going to be next gen Joust! (minus the eggs)
I believe this is to downgrade the kernal on the 360 so you can run the shader exploit from the King Kong game. MS left some unsigned code and opened the door a bit from what I understand.

The Slimline PS2 and the DS Lite did not come out within 1.5 years of its predecessor. I think MS just needed to wait another year and work out the problems with the original 360(65nm chipset, quieter DVD, better fans) and then move on to this Elite. I don't think people would of been as upset then.

Robert - there was NO massive recall of the 360. Show me one link/source of where the 360 was recalled? The only thing MS did was extent the warranty of 05 machines for a short period of time.
I won't disagree that the early 360's had some issues. Then once MS refurbished them they continued to have problems and were cycled back to the customer. MS has made some bad hardware blunters.. But the wicked line-up of games can't be denied.
One of the big features of the 360 is Video Marketplace. With 20gigs you can't keep all the shows you download. MS suggests you redownload them, but when it takes 30-60min to download it's not all that convienent. When you download huge content like Shivering Isles it eats up space quick.

The Elite that also includes HDMI is only $479.99.

One of the best cover systems of any FPS, second only to Gears of War. I highly recommend this game to all FPS fans on the PS3. The game is an absolute blast on Realistic difficulty. Hopefully they have all the multiplayer components the 360 has because CoOp is a hoot!
