I've not been into MGS just like the Splinter Cell series.. All that sneaking around crap gets boring.. I've watched the gameplay coverage and the game looks great graphics wise but nothing that mind blowing and certainly not as cool as the CGI trailers that came out earlier(I didn't expect it too but was hoping). Again, these games get hyped up to be the biggest game in history and then as the release date approaches reality sets in and some people are bound to be let-down.

It makes no sense to do it now. You can only lower the price so much before you are giving them away at even more of a loss. Why do it now before the PS3 has had a chance to mature with it's titles. I would say it's more because of the size limit for XBLA games which is currently 150MB. LBP would not fit into that size and I'm sure there will be future games on the XBLA that will be more directed at user generated content. Kotaku loves to jab at MS and are more Sony fanboys than anything so I'm not surprised by this comment. XBLA is NOT meant for full gam...
I picked up the 360 version of this game.. Lame that you get a patch and it completely destroys the game..

Exactly. I have a 360 and PS3 in my living room and then another 360 in my office. I will buy another PS3 once the price comes down a bit more and the Dualshock 3 is standard.
Both of my consoles are from around launch and I've never had a problem with either of them.
And the game is great! The SP campaign on Heroic was about 12 hours for me to complete. This is perfect for a SP campaign and I wonder what difficulty these people played it on?
The graphics are a nice step-up from H2 with a lot more action! The way the game loads during the levels can cause some stutter, barely noticable but I'm thinking people might be mistaking that for a framte rate slowdown.
