No new updates to the PSN store until mid-April so I'm guessing 4/17 at the earliest.
I'm looking forward to getting my hands on the new maps personally. From what I hear, the Creek map is a good one for snipers and sniper killers.
I'm confused. I doubt that Sony would add a second analog stick to the current model and split their userbase that way.
However, a PSP2 with dual analog sticks, backward compatibility with PSP1 and support for PS1/PS2 emulation would be awesome.

btw - i've decided to get the game just to try it out. i mostly like tiger woods because of how realistically they model the golf courses not necessarily because of the gameplay. but i've heard from a few people now that this game is fun.
I'm a golfer in real life and like Tiger Woods Golf but I'm not sure whether I would like Hot Shots. Any golfers out there with an opinion?
And whether that's a reason for the slow uptake of the PS3 and X360. The games that are out right now may not be enough of a reason to get a PS3 or x360 if you don't have an HDTV. That should all change once MGS4 and FFXIII come out though.

It is all about the challenge. Anyway, I don't think IW needs to change Prestige at all, since there are plenty of people who opt in now as it is and plenty of others who don't.
Beyond just the added realism, it's one way to penalize drivers who bump walls and other cars. They should take it even further and charge for "repairs" after every race.
It would be a plus for good drivers who protect their cars and end up costing "bumper car" drivers more money in the long run.
It contributes to the realism but I'm sure PD will make damage modeling optional for people who don't want any scratches on their shiny cars.
Burnout's full destruction modeling is not without compromises... they don't have real cars and even then they are driverless, probably because the violence of the crash on the rag doll driver would put it over the rating they were trying to achieve.
I'm sure GT's damage modeling will be as good as it gets within the limits that are imposed by their licenses and rating.
The design is a little slicker but more important for me is that the PSN store will be a native XMB application so easier to navigate and more responsive.
I'm hoping that this is more than just a facelift of the PSN store and they took the time to redesign the underlying XMB architecture to support more native apps. I would love to see an XMB video store and/or music store. It would be even better if Sony allowed custom XMB apps, like picture/music browsers, chat clients, screen ...

MS said that their supply issues would be corrected by March so it'll be interesting to see how they respond if this trend continues.
Perhaps, as some have suggested, they are holding a bunch of consoles back for the launch of GTA. If so, they should announce the bundle ASAP before GT:P launches in the US.
VG still undertracks the PS3 so it's likely that the PS3 numbers will be adjusted even higher after NPD are released.
But it still seems low to me. Even when Yakuza came out, which is like the Japanese GTA, there was barely a bump.
I'm starting to think that JP is all about handhelds this generation. The PSP sales numbers this week definitely support that hypothesis.
I think the jump in PSP JP numbers are because of the new Monster Hunter game.
I'm guessing it's kind of like Overgrowth with long sight lines and a mix of obvious and not-so-obvious sniping nests.
