“ 'Keeping Games Off Other Platforms Is Not the Path for Us’”

Of course not because that is not how third-party publishing works. This isn’t new. Xbox is reinventing the wheel and getting praised for it by the usual fanboys.

Not sure what you mean by ‘cheers to the future, but third-party publishers have been doing this for a very long time.

Yes, it’s definitely very much pro-consumer as you say. But ‘why’ also applies to that as well. Don’t be fooled into thinking it’s simply out of the goodness of their hearts. Survival mode has been activated.

How do you take my original comment about PS to PC release schedule helping a hardware/electronics manaufacturer keep their product relevant, and my second comment alluding to the same thing, and twist the debate into how people are getting laid off? What does that have to do with any of my comments?

But since you want to talk about layoffs, you do know that the entire industry is laying people off regardless of how well they are performing, right? Doesn't MS/Xbox con...

"It should never be for the sake of gatekeeping software just to keep certain hardware relevant."

For a hardware manufacturer, it certainly should be about keeping your product relevant. What else are they in business for?

You're very welcome. See, showing a little gratitude wasn't very hard now, was it?

And we thank you Xbox fans for allowing Xbox to make their games available for all.

Let's all sing and dance!!

Yeah but the difference is that PS players will still get to play all the good games since Xbox is third-party now.

HYUK HYUK HYUK :D

I guess that's the new version of "wait unil the next E3"

I see plenty of the usual people being critical of Sony all the time and their accounts haven't been banned. Unless I'm missing something.

Damn, you created ANOTHER alt account just to say the exact same thing that you said in the one that got shut down. Why not just post what you want to say under your regular account? It's not like you said anything derogatory or inappropriate just now.

It's should be shameful for Ubisoft to know that they only delayed AC Shadows release due to the poor reception of Outlaws. They would likely have released this game sooner in it's less-than-polished state if Outlaws sales were better. Even now, I'm sure that it will still have quite a few things that need tweaking when it finally releases.

This is definitely a necessity for Xbox at this time in order for them to recoup costs and increase revenue sooner rather than later. It'll be interesting to see if this remains their strategy in the future when/if they are on more even footing.

LOL just like you bringing out the alt account to drop your salt for any PS5 news.

Pot meets kettle

I think this is a perfect release schedule (about 12-15 months) from PS to PC. It helps keeps PS hardware relevant while still enjoying sales from the PC-only fanbase.

Are you calling it a 'flop' sales-wise? Or just inferring that it hasn't yet lived up to the hype? Because it been selling similar to what PS4 Pro did around it's launch.

I hope Sony is taking notes as to what games are getting us hyped. Have your research teams visit these sites and hear what the gamers are talking about when gameplay trailers such as these come out. So far I have not yet seen any widespread negative comments about this game. Single-player action games are still very much in high demand. Always keep a good amount of these games in your 1st-party development arsenal.

As long as they continue to offer 'free' monthly games that I can 'keep', then I'm good with just Essentials. I was never intrigued or tempted to go to Extra or Premium.

It was a much needed eye opener. Seriously, what were they thinking sinking so many resources into this absurd amount of GaaS games? You would think they never heard of 'not putting all your eggs into one basket'.

369d ago 11 agree0 disagreeView comment

I don’t think so either but I wouldn’t be surprised if it was $80 just for the base game.

Sony could cure cancer and you’d blame them for putting drug companies out of business
