When they give it such a low score for replayability...are they just looking at the single player game which they admitted is just a training thing for people to play before starting online?
But with Mods, this will keep the game fresh on the multi player, which lets face it is the main reason people buy this.
Plus the low score for originality....Well of course its not original, is an up date to one of the original FPS games that there was from the first games like Doom, Quake ...

The Movie studios want to see a winner so they can finish the format war. The longer it goes on, the longer the average consumer is going to be scared off of going to the HD format.
BlueRay is currently the clear winner at this time, so this studio decided to bite the bullet and do what needed to be do and put its backing behind it and make sure the war will end and there is only one choice the consumer needs to make, to go HD or not to go HD...that is the question.
Don't forget these companies are always doing deals with each other.
Toshiba for example helped witht he dev for the Cell, and yet were on the other side on the format war.
beside, BlueRay on 360 can only be good for Sony and then there are more people who will buy BlueRay films.
Unfortunatly for the 360 owners, its unlikely the games produced for 360 will be able to take advantage of the extra space as this would force the current 360 owner to get a plug in....Something ...

if you make a game on a HD-DVD, most of the people who own a 360 now will not be able to play it.
if they go through the whole process of changing the standard setup but using HD-DVD and forcing the hard drive as standard, it would make the console better, but it also means there no longer a standard....they might as well call it an Xbox720.

epic has their engine running on a lot of games, plus isn't there also Rage??

but in the same way I like to collect movies on disk, I prefer my games on disk as well as otherwise I'm going to run out of disk space trying to keep all the games I want to play.
I have 10 games for my PS3 so far, with all of them on Blueray disk, how much hard drive space would be taken up if these were down loaded from PSN.
its fine for small games and demos, but if they get too big its going to create problems they don't really need to make right now.

The only lead that the PS3 version will have on the 360 version is what MS give them.
It'll be interesting to see how much MS dig their feet in on this mods issue and allowing user content.
