Oh Boo Hoo....so what are you going to do about it?
I know, try making some movies people actually want to watch!
I hear that.
I remember many years ago I used to play Speedball2 until my hands hurt and were shacking.
And I had such problems pulling my self away from Civilizations that my dad had to turn the power off by the house mains to get me off the computer. I think I lost about 3 hours worth of playing when he did that, I was not happy.
Did this guy read my thoughts or something???
Its kind of scary, but nice to know I'm not alone.
I'm 31 and its been two days since I last touched a console. :-(
Just ban the lot and see which of them will call in.
I suspect that if it is an illegal copy, they won't bother call the service desk because they know they've done wrong.
It may be a game, but it is also their business.
Now if your one of these people that has an illegal copy of the game, you can expect to get banned....once that happens, I don't think they will be thinking its a game anymore either.
Dang, don't ya just hate it when you see everyone raving about it and when you go to see it, its no longer there :-(
Score it 9.9999999999996/10 then.
The bigger you make the game, the more chance that there are going to be bugs in them. And no matter how much bug testing you do, there is always going to be the odd bug that slips through the net.
Look at the other open sandbox games like Oblivion and Assassins creed.
There were many bugs in each of these games as the open nature of the game prevents the tester from taking every option the player can take when they get their hands on the game.
Hopefully issues like floating...
Thats a good way of dealing with the pirated market for these games.
Release a buggy version of the game that you can't finish and let it flood torrent distributors so that the only way you can be sure to get the good copy of the game is to buy it from the shop.
Rough country between....do you mean Palmerston North?
I kid, I kid...
Funny how all the New Zealand stories make the Kiwis come out of the wood work.
If you make something your proud of, you want to show it off.
I think he should be fine.
The Law is that you can't impersonate a police officer.
Plus he is not making any money out of it, so I don't think they have much to hold against him.
It was nothing worth repeating.
I expect the ratio of sales for GTA4 will be equal to that of the ratio of owners for PS3 and 360....so all in all, I find these arguments rather pointless.
Wow....Fan Boyism and racism...makes idiot by the power of 2.
Always a good idea not to put all your eggs into one basket.
And besides, this means they'll be well setup when DD really does take over from physical media.
Its quite a nice bit of streaming with good quality picture and well worth the watch.
However, I don't expect I'd be going back to watch it again so its no need to keep it on a local media.
Now on the other hand if there is a film I like and I watch a copy of it in HD and do plan to see it a few times, I like the option of having the BlueRay disk. Now thanks to Sony I do have the choice on which media I can get it on.
See, there is a place for both DD and BlueRay disc.
Yes, last time I checked Sony hasn't tried to sabotage a media so that the customer did not have a choice on how they get their movies.
....and how much of that is for storing porn?
Technology will always increase at the same rate until we reach the limits of what we can do with the physics we can control.
As such the consoles that come out in 7, 8 or 10 years time will be at lest as much a step forward as it was from PS2 to PS3.
But between that the growth of processing rate will not stop and PCs will continue to grow with the tech.
At the moment the average home PC will be below what consoles can do because its the high end stuff thats new and ...
