I think Sony do factor in a recession into their plans.
Because usally they seem to occur every 10 years or so, about the same as their console cycle.
Its not for you....I don't use it much either.

I could say the same thing about 360, but thats only because I only got Bioshock and Mass Effect for it. One later came out for PS3 and the other I will be getting for my PC later so I can play Mass Effect 2 on the PC. But thats my opinion.

these sources have been saying this since the last time the PS3 did have a price drop.
I do think that one is not too far off, if anything so people will be free to start buying again because everyone is holding off till the price drop happens.
At first I thought it was too much like Oblivion and not that interesting.
But after you get into it and start building up your character, it starts to get harder to pull your self away.
Although what I would like to see is an open world of spawn.
I think the story line really opens itself up for an open world game.
A really dark game with choices between good and evil.

I'm sure with the right programming a lot of what milo can do can be done with the playstation eye. MS have just taken it a step further.
But the fact is the Eyepet is a working program that will be in customer hands very soon.
If Milo was accessible to the general public, how long will it take for the holes in the programing and AI to show.

All you need to do is go out and buy a new PS3 and away you go.
I don't think just creating an new account will be enough as every PS3 will have its unique number on the system. So if you go onto the network with a different account on the same PS3, I'll guarantee you will not get on.

The 360 is cheaper than the Wii now, but it is still not outselling it.
Thats because people know the Wii, its family friendly, its got the products out there. and has been on the market in its current form for years.
Even if Sony and Microsoft do an exact copy, people when they think about this sort of product, the first thing they tink of is the Wii.

The game industry is doing alright considering the current economic situation. I don't think a price cut will make a big difference if the people who couldn't afford it at the slightly higher price, now have a console but now can't afford the games.

When you said Uncharted 2 could be delayed, you nearly made me have a heart attack.
There is plenty of room in my Xmas stocking for both GT5 and Uncharted 2.
I'm hoping that is the game is a success, that there will be more games like it.
