Well, you know the game community. No one does anything in half measures. If you're going to buy costumes you're going to buy the costumes for every character right!? /s

I've enjoyed quite a few fighting games this gen, yet never purchased any DLC for them...weird I know.

So 3 RPGS, RE5, Street Fighter and Monster hunter are your great bastions of profitability? Of Critical and Commercial success? What's so great about RE5 that's miles better then RE4? Oh right, Sheva and grass skirts.

Again, you've posted another comment that has absolutely zero to support your claims. When I say dragged feet I meant in the sense that the games they released on the platforms could be packaged in a Xbox or PS2 case and you would barely know the dif...

I can deal with that.

At this point and time yes, it also suffers from loads of issues. How do you manipulate things? How do you move? Where will this go in your living space?

It just feels wayyyy to pipe dreamy at this point.

Because you have to play them right? I long for the days when I wasn't forced to play what I didn't want...oh wait.

A lot of hot air, zero substance. For all that wheel spinning you've done, you've done very little to prove your theory that:

A) Japanese Developers are Happy and Growing.

B) They are releasing unique and different games from their Western counter parts. Or at least not wallowing in genre's that they've murdered worse then " Generic Gun games"

C) With the exception of Nintendo and Sony...

FPS MP game of the year sure...that SP was TERRIBLE though. I finished Homefront, I couldn't finish BF3's sp. I just felt incredibly bored the whole way through.

5191d ago 3 agree6 disagreeView comment

Funny, my PC version of BF3 plays very differently from Bad Company 2. I'm sure it has nothing to do with being truer to what Battlefield is...but hey, what do I know? I've only purchased all of them.

If you're speaking of the console version, really what did you expect?

Face Racers and ATV Wild Ride sure were risky ventures.

Yeah, I buy games with a major COOP slant purely for the SP. If you didn't want a COOP game, it's kinda not a game for you.

It's like playing Borderlands or L4D by yourself, incredibly boring.

Yeah because fighting games have the same mass appeal as Msss Effect... Use your head.

What From the Beach fails to grasp is that Journey like Flower, is NOT A GAME. I'm sorry it's not a video game, it just plain and simply isn't.

Also the idea of complexity always being a barometer for enjoyment is laughable. Especially when it's something that is far more about the...Journey, no pun intended.

It's alright little fella, your critical thinking ability will descend one day.

@smashcrashbash

No console game is a sim, MoH,CoD,BF etc etc for the Modern War shooter parade are all ARCADE titles. They may make an effort to appear authentic, but they are all the furthest thing from it. They have more in common with Quake, then what they try to replicate.

Original RB6, Operation Flashpoint (Not the shitty sequels), Arma those are "sims" of War. Uncharted is a sim of what it would be like to be a man who could not dislocate his ...

The CoD series in a popular sense is far larger then the "classic" video game community. That's why boycotts don't work for popular games outside of the "community". Joe Blow doesn't care, he just plain and simple doesn't care.

What I find humiliating more then anything, is how many people think they own the data on their disks. You don't, you don't, you DO NOT.

5192d ago 0 agree1 disagreeView comment

Or everyone is missing the point that you don't OWN the game. You own a license to play the game. Big ole difference there.

5192d ago 0 agree2 disagreeView comment

You are aware that you, in no way, shape or form OWN the data on the disk right? It's not yours, it's capcoms. All you're paying for is the license to play the game.

And as always, you do not need to purchase any DLC.

5192d ago 0 agree0 disagreeView comment

Yeah, because when DLC gets released I HAVE to buy. Or maybe some people buy their games, and that's the end of it. 38 characters, I was happy with the handful in SF2 and MK1.

@onyoursistersback

Defensive statements like "I liked MK more better game play,(for me!)" when you opened with "Mortal Kombat is better anyways..." Make no sense and not even talking about your spelling and sentence structure just make you look like an idiot. Your opening comment offered no context or reason for existing other then to let us know what your irrelevant opinion is. In a discussion about DLC is Rolento really going to assume you're discuss...

lulz, the campaign is your n00b friendly starting point? Warcraft campaign was easy, 1 through 3. Same with SC1, Brood War and SC2. None of those are hard games.

WoW, you got me there although when you talk about something ambiguous like "feeling" I think it's more a case of Azeroth and WoW being one big question mark for what was inside. We know Kalimdor and the Eastern Kingdom like the back of our hands. It's inevitably going to be different and feel diffe...
