This is getting sad!
It's just that Sony had a stable PSone userbase with a 10 million PS2 userbase at the time when the original XBox launched.
M$ didn't stand a chance in the last-gen.
Even though they had a stronger system, better online service, and spawned what is probably one of the most recognizable game franchises in recent years.
People are buying these cooling fans on fear alone!
It may temporarily save a 360 from going up in smoke, but it won't save it forever. If the 360 is defective, an external cooling fan isn't the magical fix.
Keep the 360 well venilated and instead of purchasing a cooling fan for $20 - $30, purchase an extended warranty instead!
This should go for any PS3/Wii owner as well!
Don't buy into this crap!
Yes this is correct. I have experienced this while playing GOW.
Although in my experiences, it has only happened to me when I enter a multiplayer game as a spectator (waiting to play). I have yet to have the rendering issue while actually playing.
And it doesn't take 15 - 30 seconds either.
But anyway, this sort of thing happens to games.
We really don't know how bad or frequent it actually happens during the gaming process on ...
Xbox turns 5 today and we get defender!
Like I said, GAAAAAAAY!
is that it's really the manufacturer's fault that this happens.
And you want to know something? They do it on purpose!
IMO, I think Sony probably had some real production issues and had lower numbers than what they really wanted to have.
But go back a year ago and M$ was somewhat in the same boat. Even though they had more consoles at launch, the demand way exceeded the availability.
The sole purpose of the console launch is to c...
You have the nerve to call out fanboys?
Take a look in the mirror and you will see a reason why this site is going downhill!
All you do is try to force your opinions on others. That is "THE TRUTH"!
I can tell you that as a proud 360 owner, I am exstatic about the fact that GOW has lived up to the hype.
But, is it so hard to believe the Insomniac created a great game for the PS3? No, its not. This game is living up to the hype as well.
The bad thing is that the huge fanbase that this game could create will not be able to play it for quite some time. Sony did a great job of getting the games out, they just forgot about making enough of those things calle...
Yes, I am still the proud owner of an Atari Lynx.
OPM was great bathroom reading material!
So what you are saying is that because YOU think differently than the majority, that your opinion is the right one?
All I am saying is that your opinion is your opinion. No one can tell YOU any different.
But like I said, it is far from THE TRUTH! Just because you feel one way doesn't mean that the majority feels the same as you.
And it doesn't mean that the majority is wrong just because it doesn't conform to your opinions!
Opinions...
No one can tell you that you are wrong with the way you feel about the game. But it is far from THE TRUTH.
There are plenty more people who would easily disagree with you on your comments about GOW.
For a good launch title.
Call of Duty 2 for the 360 received an 8.8, and it was easily the most played 360 game over the last year.
Resistance looks as if it will keep PS3 users busy for quite some time.
And yes, 1up is probably one of harder review teams out there. They gave COD3 a 6.5 which IMO is very unwarranted. I think COD3 received an unfair shake due to the fact that GOW was being reviewed at the same exact time.
That came out of left field! LMFAO!
This game received the review it has always deserved!
DOAX2 Volleyball = Big Brown Smelly TURD!
We have seen survey after survey after survey on the PS3 expectations.
But, the fact is that we will never know how things are going to play out for at least another year.
The short shipments of PS3's are obviously going to sell out at launch. The PS2 user base consists of 140 million units sold. There are only a little over 400,000 units being sold at launch for the PS3.
Lets see what the numbers are after a year and the PS3 is readily availab...
Are you serious?
You mean to tell me that anyone who purchases a PS3 wouldn't have the extra money for a game?
The person who posted before you is right. The reason why there is a lower number of games sold per console is because of Ebay'ers who don't need to purchase a game.
The games will still be available in stores so there isn't a reason for the ebayer to purchase the games.
These Ebay scammers will easily pay someone $600 at...
We obviously know that the PS3 will fair better than the 360 in Japan.
But you would have to be a complete moron to think that a company that sold 140 million PS2 units would'nt sell 80,000 delayed launch units.
Hmmm. I wonder if the 300,000 - 400,000 North America units will sell out? I think so!
doesn't even cut it for these guys.
I know we have fanboys on both sides here but I don't think anyone here would be this desperate to get their hands on a PS3.
This is just flat out sad!
This game looks amazing. 2007 is going to be a strong year for 360 games!
