When you make a billion dollars selling games, you can drop the prices a little quicker.
And all of you who say EA sucks, wait until "Army of Two" hits the shelves!
Don't get me wrong, I don't agree with what they do in certain cases (especially with the 360 marketplace) but they do still make some pretty good games.
I like the story and I feel that people who only play it for multiplayer are really missing out on a good story.
Listen up! This is a good cause! But since it doesn't bring on fanboy flames I am sure that it will just fade away.
Do yourself a favor and do something good for a sick kid and help give our gaming community a good rap for once!
I just spent $15 on a video game to send to a childrens hosptial in Buffalo ,NY. Its one bill that you will actually feel good about paying. I promise you!
They obviously know EVERYTHING about the gaming industry!
The seem to know that everyone only plays MMORPG's!
I can't wait for the day that I can spend all of my gaming hours in front of a 19' PC monitor instead of my 52' HDTV and 5.1 surround sound!
Thank god we will only have to worry about spending thousands on high end gaming PC's!
I am sitting here at my PC right now thinking
"Man! I can't wait to spen...
The PS2 had dissapointing sales in its first year as well.
Look how that turned out.
Actually he hasn't won any case against video games.
He may have won plenty of malpractice suits and blocked the sale of a 2 Live Crew album in Florida back in the early 90's.
But "luckily" no, he hasn't won any of his bullsh1t cases against the video game industry. Either they have been thrown out or are still in litigation.
We all agree that he is a douchebag!
And he knows it. No judge is ever going to rule in favor of Thompson. It would be unconstitutional for Thompson to ever win a trial against video games.
He is just trying to make a bunch of press so that he can make tons of money selling books. There are plenty of idiots that do agree with him and they will support his "cause" with cash.
He is a crook! Because he knows that he will never win yet he still makes people believe that he can. In turn, t...
Because the last time I checked, it was still the most played game on XBox Live.
And a game that sells 2 million copies in a month and half is far from "overhyped" IMO.
Yes the game has a few bugs that need to be sorted out but there is a patch right around the corner. And not to mention that there are rumors of some new content coming our way for no extra cost.
But I am sure RFOM is a perfect online experience as well!
The numbers speak for themselves. It really is a true achievement.
This game was incredibly hyped and has lived up to the hype in every way. In about a month and a half, this game has sold 2 million copies. That is quite impressive. Especially since there was no earlier version of this game to compare it to. Games like Halo 2 had built a fanbase through the original Halo.
GOW shot out of the gates with 2 million units in a very very short amount of time.

I agree that people who really want a PS3 will wait for them to be readily available. I myself jumped ship but that doesn't mean everyone is.
As for the Wii being a novelty? I do halfheartedly agree with this as well. It's a gimmicky machine that will be driven by exclusives such as Mario, Zelda, and Metroid. Just like the Gamecube was.
But people will buy into this gimmick and Nintendo will make millions upon millions of dollars. I mean, its only $250 and...
No reason to try! He will defend the PS3 to the bitter end.
But its understandable. Why wouldn't you try to defend something you liked?
A FPS that won't make it to consoles. Who cares? If Crytek wants to alienate themselves to PC's then that is their decision.
It says right in the article that they don't want to lose their reputation in the PC market, even if it means screwing themselves out of millions! Idiots!
Even Epic and Valve make console ports with pretty big success.
Oh yeah, I am sure Epic is really wishing they stuck to PC's after GOW hit the shelves. lol! How mu...
I am with you on that one power091999!
If your main reason for getting a PS3 is backwards compatability, then you need your head examined!
But it is nice to see companies like Square Enix developing games for the 360.
Been there before!
Not with M$ but with Best Buy.
I had a T.V. that was under Best Buy's extended warranty program (which cost me $200).
After 1 year, two televisions, 5 service calls, 4 months of waiting for parts, and hours of customer service calls, only then did Best Buy hold up to their end of the warranty.
I filed with the Better Business Bureau and the States Attourney General's Office. Here is my conversation with the SAG'...
That M$ was fixing the boxes that had issues for free? Of course unless you put modded firmware onto your 360.
If they are fixing them for no charge, how can you try to sue them?
I'm not that desperate to vote for myself. Actually, I didn't even know it was possible.
But you see, I disagree with you and I am telling you why.
It's typical of this website though.
I love how people will disagree and then write nothing in reply!
You should have specified that in the title!
