I am fine with my 360. I could care less about the PS3.
If GOW is as "good as it gets" graphically for the 360, then that is fine with me.
I like FPS, and the 360 does that genre better than any other "console" on the market. The "live" service is leaps and bounds beyond anything Sony will ever have for the PS3. Go ahead and say Sony's online service is free! So what? It's sh1t when compared to "live".
why this game looks so much better in the screenshots then it did when I played it in HD?
Don't get me wrong, the game still looked excellent but for some reason, these screenshots look better than the actual game.
The screenshots make me say WOW! While the game itself wasn't anything too special IMO.
Maybe the actual game looks better than the demo.
I don't think this patch is going to be anything spectacular. Unless you are one of the people who are having the VGA issue.
And if there is one thing that I do hope its that they reinforce the "True Skill" system by actually making it work. Because as of right now, it is way too easy to get around it.
Either fix it or just let it go and make it a party system for ranked games.
At least give us gamers who can't sit around and play...

And yes it does look good but it didn't make me go WOW! I need this game! And I'm sorry but it doesn't have the same effect on me as GOW did.
When I was done playing, I didn't have the urge to keep playing. Maybe it's my own taste in games though. Racing games get repetitive and boring IMO.

The sad thing is that for some reason, Sony fanboys are still hoping that Killzone will be the "Halo Killer".
Get over it, it's not going to be! So far there are 3 Killzone games on the market and each one of them has sucked @ss!

Not to mention that the vehicle in that screenshot is none other than the fabled "Mongoose" that was scratched from Halo 2.
But we already knew that from the Halo 3 screenshots in the latest issue of EGM.
The movie should have been created in CGI and released straight to DVD. It would have been a goldmine!

comparisons are constantly made between the 360 and PS3 is that both M$ and Sony dumped tons and tons of money into developing next-gen graphical powerhouse gaming consoles.
Forget the Wii. They will sell systems but I really think that Nintendo did themselves a disjustice by not investing into a graphical upgrade. I have a feeling that the Wii will turn into another dust collector like the Gamecube over time. But that is a story for another thread.

I get home and download these videos to my Media Player 11 library.
Then I will be able to pull them through my 360 and watch them in 720p rather than my crappy PC monitor.
I tried to make a comparison but you just can't unless you see it in high def IMO.
The true textures and graphics can't be seen on a standard 4:3 computer monitor.

I have heard that it could be a bad DVD-drive, or a bad solder point.
Either way like you said, someone should open one up and check it out.
But if it does happen to be a faulty DVD drive, I am sure the only fix is to replace it.
The old 360's had Hitachi drives from what I understand. They have so far been replaced by Samsung drives. Don't quote me on this because it could be the other way around.

You can obviously see by the video that he is stuck beyond his control. His heart meter is quite large as well so you know that he didn't just start playing the game.

I know the game is open ended but if you actually knew anything, you would know that there is a "main quest" in the actual game. There is a fight which has you pinned against 3 monk looking characters in a dungeon.

I hate game glitches like that!
I went through 10 hours of Oblivion and ran into a glitch that kept me from progressing any further in the game. It was actually very similar to this.
Needless to say, that was the last time I played Oblivion. Luckily I was just borrowing the game.
