This game is flopping so hard.......
I am going to enjoy seeing the numbers when they release, P.C. gaming is dead and spending time and effort to make a game excel on a P.C. that can actually handle a game maxed out like the video's is rare indeed.
The average P.C. gamer is going to see worse then the console gamers, the console gamers aren't going to want sloppy seconds to some P.C. port.

It's already been said that the next Nintendo console will offer both motion controls and a standard Analog controller.
Hopefully it's an option to use either or. I would have enjoyed some Wii games much more if I could have just used a normal controller.

I expect Guitar Hero to come back one day. It only got old because they tried to sell a $60 game to people when they could have easily just sold the songs as DLC.
COD is different in the aspect that while they are releasing one every year, it's a different company. So Infinity Ward has essentially released only 3 COD games in 6 years. That is a 2 year cycle and that is on par with everything from Resistance, Killzone, Uncharted and Halo.

I think the next Nintendo console is just a stopgap between the Xbox 720 and PS4. They must know some things we don't, though now it's been reported that Sony and Microsoft don't want to release consoles till 2014 or even 2015, Nintendo see's this as an opportunity to cash in.

COD games always have a ton of people and same with Halo games.
Surprisingly GTA4 and some of those other games have a very healthy community as well, glad to see that when you spend your $60 for a game you can get more use out of it then the first couple of months.
Surprised Homefront and Crysis 2 aren't on the list. There are hundreds of thousands on those games every day. Just goes to show you how many people play XBL and the wide variety of games they play on it.

If the market were to get flooded with consoles now, we might very well face the same fate as the gaming industry did in the 1980's.
The economy is not strong enough, especially in the United States to risk launching a new console, especially if you cant do it for under $600, which is what Microsoft or Sony would have to sell new tech for.

If They release their next console at $299 that will put pressure on Microsoft and Sony. I would definitely get a Nintendo console if they offered something along the lines of Achievements, Structured and paid online services, a console that has games like GTA, Resident Evil, COD ect....
Drop the friends code stuff and get down to business.
It always takes companies years to even take partial advantage of new tech in new consoles. I for one don't want to wait for that. I like what is out now, at least for another couple of years.

Actually this game is looking pretty good, it's only $50 on Amazon, I might have to give it a try. If worst it'll be another 360 exclusive on my shelf and at best it'll be a fun game to play through, I actually look for co op games like this to play through with my brother.
Hopefully Sony saw what a mistake it was to release something like that at such a high price point and with no physical media.
Well the arcade is great and is $199 but no HDD can eventually you will need to put out more money for one, I bought a 360s last year and then just bought the 250 HDD from Deal Extreme for $50, but I could see if the Wii gets dropped to $100 the 360s regular going to $250 and the Arcade down to $150 or so and the PS3 dropping to $250.
As I said, I don't see it happening soon though.

My favorite game of 2010 for sure, well Mass Effect 2 was up there too, but Alan Wake was amazing. Glad they made their own engine and hopefully that means a sequel can come out sooner.
To anyone who is thinking of getting this game, buy it new. It comes with the first DLC free and you will need to buy the final DLC to actually understand the story 100%.

They surely do count them, I know for sure the Nav controller. Not sure about the Eye, but I read an article that lists the Nav as a "Sale", Sony is very sketchy IMHO with all their "Sales" talk.
Whats wrong with offering both? If Nintendo is truly going after a core audience then they will need to lure them back with a solid analog controller.
Sort of how Sony does with the Move, games like Killzone and Socom can be used with Move or a regular controller, that is what Nintendo needs to do as well.
