PSPGO failure told me a few things.
1.Digital download wont work for game consoles
2.$250 for a non Nintendo handheld wont sell
3.People are sick of having to re-buy games they already own
4.People wanted trophy support
5.People wanted two thumb-sticks
I am adult and I play a DS, There are rated M games on it. I bought one for my mother who is certainly not a kid, she loves it!
I really dislike Jack, I know all businessmen are somewhat liars, but this guy takes the cake.
"He is too old for Lollipops" Yet Sony makes their own.
Trashed Nintendo for doing motion controls as well, then after Nintendo gets successful with it, they copy it, what a great guy huh?
Now s...
Definitely not a kid, I would guess I'm older then you, but like getting Airline miles, it adds extra incentives to playing games.
I grew up with the NES, Atari 2600 ect.. So I realize that Achievements are more of a luxury, but I find myself unable to play through new games without them.
Guess we will have to agree to disagree on the subject.
Well honestly I don't play PS3 often, but the other day I was going to finish playing through God Of War 3 on the highest difficulty and it wouldn't let me sign in.
I have like 10 PSN's and one is my main one, so I wasn't sure if my main account would get it or what?
If you cant sign in, you cant unlock trophies and the like right? I am not 100% sure but I was going to play through a game and it wouldn't let me sign in, so I didn't want to play through a game and get nothing...
Beatles Rock Band sold very well, especially when compared to things like Guitar Hero Aerosmith, Metallica, Green Day and Van Halen.
I have no issue with importing tracks or anything, I understand it has some rather strict copyright laws with Beatles music.
I just want some more DLC.
Would love to get some more Beatles DLC, I finished everything the game has to offer and am more then ready for some more.
I don't know about you, but I got free XBL off that incident and my XBL never even went out. It was never a worldwide problem like the PSN issue.
So for compensation everyone got free XBL and Arcade game, you talk like a man with a paper asshole in a forest fire.
As I said, I have been a XBL user for going on 8 years and have never had XBL go down on my for more then a half day for scheduled maintenance. Not sure where you are getting your information fro...
Probably as ridiculous as all the PS3 fanboys that creep in 360 articles with smart ass comments? Mine was a joke however and it looks like the majority took it that way.
To be honest I never played Gears 2 online till about a year and a half ago, even in that time the online has been so much improved I really came to love it.
They even added dedicated servers to the social maps. I have no complaints about Gears of War 2 online or otherwise.
As for Gears 3, I have only played a "BETA" of the game which doesn't come out for six more months. The beta looks better in the online then any other Gears title, even Gears...
It makes sense that the XBL servers are more stable, Microsoft is a software/computer company. They should know how to make and run online servers.
I've been a XBL user for almost 8 years now though and I don't recall there ever being a down time like PSN is going through, even when Black Ops released and there were 3 million + on the game, same with when Halo Reach launched.
I think it's something more sinister with PSN, but don't quote me on...
To those saying XBL has had problems, a couple of years ago they went offline for a day, and Microsoft gave everyone credit in the form of a one month and a free Arcade game.
I've never seen XBL go down for more then a day and then it's usually maintenance and Microsoft prepares people for it.
The sudden PSN outage is obviously something major and Sony isn't even saying anything about it. That would concern me in a big way if I were a big PSN user...
Agreed, I mean I believe at one time The Old Republic was going to be on the 360 and same with Champions online.
Microsoft has clearly loosened up since they are letting Epic run servers on the XBL servers, which is something they usually were against.
Not true, there were free Left 4 Dead DLC.
Well I guess we can agree to disagree, I could sit here and drone on with lists of reasons why XBL is amazing, but I know how this site is and honestly I don't want to waste time typing about it.
Seems Microsoft and Valve are again working well together, I think we are bound to hear something at E3 about the two. Maybe Microsoft struck a deal to put games on Steam in order to keep Left 4 Dead 3 exclusive? Could be anything really.
I have a feeling Steam Works is coming to the 360 in addition to anything else they have to say.
I think Microsoft is finally starting to loosen up the reigns a bit when it comes to XBL, hopefully this means things like Fin...
Now that is how you answer a question. I appreciate your point of view, bubbles for you.
I guess when I think of games I tend to think of action and things like that, Was never a puzzle fan, though I don't mind them in some games as a part of the story or whatever.
Bro get over yourself. The copies of the game are the exact same thing, unlike the first game which was superior on the 360 in every way, I enjoyed the Orange Box, but didn't like Portal.
I think the game is more hassle then fun, so my question was legit, it had nothing to do with a console war, so why try to make it into one kid?
I seriously don't get this game, it's not fun, it's more tedious then anything. Very short game that I guess I just don't understand.
The first one was awful and I just cant see the how or why people get excited over this title.
These guy's take themselves a bit too seriously. I find there messages humorous.
