They wont touch COD with this attitude.... Sorry, but they should have tried the Crytek route and do a great game on all three.
I'm not confusing it with anything, 12 players per team is not that much larger then 9 per team which is what the max is on COD games.
Even 12 players per team doesn't justify huge freaking maps. With every new BF3 article they are pushing themselves farther and farther away from me as a console gamer and as a tactical FPS gamer.
It was a good example, it was a pretty cool game, but going up against people using keyboard and Mouse was a bad idea.
Which is why the online died out so fast on the XBL.
I also listed Final Fantasy Online as an example. I believe those people played against P.C. and PS2 users, if there were any PS2 users left on that game, I remember you had to have that failed HDD on PS2 to be able to use it or something....
Other games on the 360 have integrated P.C. players against Console players. Shadow Run for one and Final Fantasy online was another.
Valve has even said they would definitely be interested in bringing Steam Works to XBL.
This confirms the game as a no buy for me. Though I might rent it. Large maps promote camping, I can already imagine not being able to even fire a weapon and just getting picked off from God knows where and then running all the way back..... I much prefer smaller to medium range maps, especially in a 12 v 12 matchplay.
Price cuts are coming to all the consoles this year, doesn't mean new consoles are being released right now. Probably not for another couple of years.
Couldn't agree more. I think new consoles at a high price point might cause a crash in the game industry.

The game isn't good......Not sure why people are so excited for the sequel. Just was not my thing.
It's not really that bad, I use it in my living room and bedroom, in the bedroom I only have around 4 and a half feet to use and I use the TV mount and it works perfectly, while in the living room I have a full 10 feet and can do two player flawless.
While I enjoyed Mass Effect 1 more, I hope it plays like Mass Effect 2 but has a story that is gritty like ME1. Cant wait to finally finish off the story that I started on the 360 four years ago.
Almost time for me to go through the first two games all over just to get everything just the way I want it.

They don't need to do anything to improve there name. They already make some top quality games that everyone loves, going through my library of games I saw a huge amount of quality Activision games.
My hatred has always leaned more towards EA. They are all in it for the money. They bought the NFL License in a greedy move and now we have no decent NFL game.

Shooter huh? So no other types of games sell better on 360? Like Assassins Creed, GTA, Red Dead,Madden football, Dead Rising 2, Oblivion and the list goes on and on.

Not true, they could easily focus on console versions and add prone. I hated the Bad Company games, they were utter trash.
