I actually thought there was enough weapons and enemies to keep it fresh, you had the foot soldier types of people and the main, bigger bosses ect..
As for weapons, Handgun, Shotgun, Flare Gun, Rifle, Flash grenades. I think this is a pretty good variety for a new IP.
I was having so much fun in the game there was never a time that I said "I wish they had more weapons" or "I wish they had different enemies".
I think when you have ...
I was in it, then I needed to cool down with the Gears 3 beta! Congratulations to Microsoft for yet another record!
They let people like Valve with SteamWorks as well as the servers for DC Universe have access.
That in itself probably caused some major issues, also the Dev PSN access.
Any time you run an open network like Sony, you risk these types of problems.
Oh I'm afraid Kevin Butler wont help them out of this one.
You realize there aren't 70 million unique PSN users right? I have like 10 different accounts.......
What did the five fingers say to Sony's face? SLAP!!!!
360 and Nintendo both get modded and hacked, yet we don't see these companies sue people. You have to know when to hold'em and know when to fold'em.
If all people cared about were tech, the PS3 would be the number one console on the market.
The fact is, fun and accessibility beat's out tech every time. The last few Dice games have been bad, you can polish a turd all you want and it's still just a shiny turd.
Well it's more then just the cross party chat. It's the servers themselves. The ability to appear offline. The ability to report people who cheat, glitch, use offensive names, tags ect..
It's really the whole setup that is better, I don't say that to sound like a fanboy, but it's just the truth. Everything is easier to navigate on XBL. It's policed, people have headsets to communicate, you can add friends by viewing your friends friends list. Comparing...
Sweet! Hopefully I can use Kinect to control it as well.
Well I think Sony probably shouldn't have poked the bear. All the publicity was something I bet they wish they never started now.
Also, while I don't blame Sony for getting hacked, they did instigate it and aren't without blame.
Then to top it off Sony has been as tight lipped as a Mobster when it comes to releasing details. We were all left to speculate and they yesterday they say "No personal info was leaked" Only to have them come ou...
Did the people deserve to know that our personal information was now in the hands of other people? Why wait a week to tell people our Credit card info was leaked ? As well as passwords, email, home addresses?
If you don't think Sony has officially Messed up, especially with the PR then I pity you, it's obvious Sony can do no wrong in your eyes and that makes it all the sadder.
Well in reality it's more like 15-20 million unique accounts compromised.
Well I cant speak for others, but as an American gamer I find that PSN really lacks when compared to XBL. I would venture to say most XBox 360 players are online players and thus want the superior online play the 360 offers.
That along with the types of games that are offered and the setup of the dashboard and a ton of other little things that add up. This generation I always felt that Sony was more interested in telling me what I wanted instead of listening to what I wanted....
Actually Sony is doing a horrible job with PR right now. I don't think even the most ignorant fanboy would say otherwise. They are being tight lipped, they aren't giving out details or an ETA of what time PSN will be back up. They are being vague with any and all responses. They didn't even announce there was a problem until two days into the situation......
Well I am certainly not a little kid, but it is frustrating nonetheless. People can put their brave face on and try to spin it however they want.
Bottom line is, if your a heavy PSN or PS3 user, your kinda pissed off about now.
Great game! Especially for that price. This game is going to be popular for a long, long time online. At least the 360 version, cant say much on the PS3 version as I've not played it, but it has a super strong community and is well worth the price.
Probably the best looking title on consoles to date.
I don't like Dice made games, I think they are rubbish. I am not the only person who feels or thinks this way.
Clearly critics and sales both point to Battlefield games as a wannabe COD.
I played Battlefield 2 Modern Combat back in the day on the PS2 and 360 and it was super easy, hop in a tank, vote Backstab over and over again. Hope in a helli and get a bunch more kills.
To me, that was what noob tactics were all about. I raked up kills easier ...
I really enjoyed Uncharted 2, I think it will be hard to top. I mean when your at the top, no place to go but down. Also with a shorter dev time, it might make it difficult to implement any sort of game changer so to speak.
