Nintendo is just perceived by people as being "Kiddie" if they truly want to compete and gain a larger "Core" audience then they need to allow those types of games.
There is no evidence that more people have 3-D televisions yet. When the fact that less then 60% of the population own an HDTV, it's probably not a stretch to say 1-2% probably own a 3-D television.
It is a fad and always has been, no matter how you dress it up. Avatar as a movie sucked! People were taken in by the pretty lights at the theaters but I never saw it there as I get headaches from 3-D and those glasses...ughh

Conviction didn't have poor sales, it went well over a million, I believe it sold close to 500k in it's first month.
Last I heard they were working on a sequel to Conviction and basically said if the money was right, it could still be exclusive. With Microsoft more in need of exclusives and having the money, I can easily see that staying 360.
I haven't heard anything on Metro, nothing is for sure I can tell you that much.

$349 for wifi version, $399 for 3G. I think sometimes these companies forget how bad the economy is right now. $4 for a gallon of gas, gonna make it hard to justify that much on something your not going to use THAT much.
I believe Nintendo is taking quite a risk releasing a new Handheld and Console so soon and so close together. I am interested in seeing what it is, but I don't believe it will force Microsoft or Sony's hand.
For me the new Nintendo console will have to have a paid, good online service. No more friends codes.
Also it needs to have full 3rd party support. So games like GTA, Dragon Age, Mass Effect, Fallout ect.. can be played on it.

Gears 2 had an epic campaign, the online to start with was pretty bad, but within the past year they have made strides to make the online much, much better. including dedicated servers and the ability to back out of lobby's in the game lobby now. Even the addition of social lobby's was a great idea.
Cant wait for the 18th so I can get involved with Gears 3!

I think Nintendo, but I'd like Microsoft to shut up some of the idiots who keep saying "No exclusives" would love to see a lineup of Alan Wake 2, Metro 2034, Kingdoms, Halo 4, Splinter Cell Conviction 2, Fable 4 and some surprises thrown in.
I think a good exclusive lineup for any year is between 4-7 games and I'd be happy with that.
I think Sony needs to impress with the NGP and actually put a price point to it, IMHO it needs to be under ...
I find Kinect with Netflix to work great. Everyone will find some reason to hate though. I am using it as we speak.

Mass Effect is by far my favorite franchise this generation, I still think Mass Effect 1 was the better story, but Mass Effect 2 had the better game play.

If you waited you could get the DLC for cheap, I got mine around Christmas for $10 for all of it until the new one just came out.
Trading in games doesn't make sense. I keep all my games, which is why I have like 120 physical games for my 360. I still play the BS online and have plans on doing the campaign again at least once.
Some people pay to use PSN+ are they stupid? I don't mean to correct you but Steam Works is different then Steam.
As far as Multiplatform games go, most could argue they are almost always better on the 360 and as far as exclusives go the 360 has some fine ones, since I don't know anyone that owns every exclusive to every console, there are always some type of exclusive to be bought.
