this update is pretty sweet. Love the changes they made for viewing photos(i use that a LOT), and the friend list looks much better now! I'm betting that color changes is just the start, maybe someday it will display the last 5 trophies you earned or a picture of the game you are currently playing.

Good thing i have been playing it since March(R3 version) and that allows me to spend quality time with my UC2. This is turning out to be one hell of a year, NGS2 was surprisingly solid and i'm now enjoying my 2nd playthrough of Crack in Time <- Best R&C game and one of the most fun game i've played in recent years :D
Bought MotorStorm ArticEdge from the store a couple of weeks back and i'm extremely pleased with it :)
kudos to BigBig Studios, i can't believe i'm saying this, but i actually enjoyed it more than Pacific Rift..maybe the fact that the Festival events are perfect for playing on the go contributed to that feeling.
Massive replayability and loads of fun(outstanding livery customization!), best PSP game i've bought this far.
but in a post-DS world, my expectation for Action-RPG has been raised considerably.
All ARPG dev should:
1)Grow some balls. Don't stick so closely to tried-and-proven formula and don't hesitate to raise the difficulty. The stale ARPG genre has been revitalized, not by the 'mighty' SE, but thanks to the new king - FromSoftware
2)study what makes DS online works so well. Kudos to those geniuses at FromSoftware for coming up with an INTEGRATED online system that (...

I think Uncharted2 offers most of that. Are you really going to play it only once? There are loads of unlockables and modifiers, i'm pretty sure the SP alone has good replay value - i must have played through UC1 at least ...
Did Activision reduce the price retailers pay for mw2?
Correct me if i'm wrong, but from what i understand, they are selling it at the same(or higher) price as other games so the discounts doesn't affect their earnings one bit. The retailers are the one incurring the loss of profit, and the huge sales due to low retail price means an increase in orders for mw2.
Activision seems to be the only party benefiting from all this =/

Oh yes, i do find it difficult switching from KZ2 to MAG controls, especially when throwing a grenade. No biggie though, i adapt fast, unlike those COD junkies

who cares if FF13 release side by side with GOW3? both games appeals to different demograph and both series have established fanbase that WILL buy the game regardless. i'll be mighty pissed if Krato's return gets delayed.

it looked fabulous 3 years ago, right now, it's not going to turn any heads. Oh and there is a chance that both GOW3 and GT5 will release on March too, which means FF13 is going up against the pinnacle of gaming visuals.

I listen to it for a min and immediately know that this is yet another one of the many mistakes SE made to 'cater' to the West. That song has phucking nothing to do with FF, and is a total misfit....i might have to import the jap version this december
that is exactly what i was afraid of. I never liked the killstreaks in the 1st MW and IW decision to focus on it completely killed off all interest i had in the game.
