oh well its their loss. Just imagine SO4 as an PS3 exclusive..it would have easily sold close to a million in japan alone, now they will be lucky to get 30% of that figure.

my growing suspicion that the dvd issue has affected the gameplay quite a bit. There are already complains of excessive linearity, and i hope SE didn't restrict the amount of freedom in the final third of the game due to the 360 limitations.
I will judge it for myself when i play the game next March, i'm prepared for the worst though
though I agree that JRPG genre is stagnating(DS took more steps forward than an entire decade worth of JRPGs) i would really hate to see them start copying from WRPG. Both genres should remain separate with their own distinct identities intact. JRPGs should go beyond the same emo androgynous 15 yr old male protagonist trying to save the world.
They HAVE to give in when it comes to games like LBP and UC2 which are SO critically acclaimed that they have NO choice but to give the score they deserves.
Other than LBP (cough* UK dev cough*), they ALWAYS give PS3 exclusives scores that are WELL below the metacritic average. And no, that doesn't mean those monkeys have 'high' standards, they gave odst a 9, 'nuff said
what i AM sure of is that Sony won M$ in nearly everything this year.

it was always meant to be played that way, guess i'm lucky enough to have a younger brother to play splitscreen with. But yes, i agree with you that the game is REALLY repetitive, with the worst ending i've ever seen =.= Still a fun game though
The english VO for Valkyria Chronicles wasn't bad, but i stick with the Jap VO for most of my playthroughs
but i agree,this is one game that fully deserves our money. Buy it guys!
in a industry where 80-90% of games are shooters, games like HR are VERY much needed. There's only so many times i can play the same thing over again

i highly doubt another price cut will turn their fate around, it's something called Law of Diminishing Returns. Both consoles have reached a critical price point where quality and games library influences buying decisions more.
M$ should just concentrate on making games, Halo is already showing signs of over-milking and betting their everything on Natal is going to piss off their core fanbase and blow up in their face.
