those idiots refused a bigger budget which they could have used to replace the aging COD4 engine AND provide dedicated servers.
Instead, they decide to do a rehash and INCREASE the price.
No gamer in the right mind should welcome a smaller dev budget, you pay the same price regardless (ok i forgot those @$$****s increased it) but get less in return.
Seriously, investing in a PS3 is a very good idea. It really offers a lot for its price and the game library is incredible, not mentioning the fact that most of the BIG guns(GOW3,GT5,FFVS,TM...) have yet to fire ^^
sadly, KZ2 will have little chance of winning thanks to the mw2 hype.
Seriously, if odst wins GoTY, the awards should be abolished till it actually means something. I have this feeling that GoTY nominations are leaning more towards popular games with tons of hype instead of rewarding excellence.
I still say there's a chance of outselling the 360 in US, though worldwide PS3 sales will still overtake 360 regardless.
it shows that unlike the 360 crowd, we have taste and will not buy merely because of (undeserved)hype. Face it, quality FPS are a dime a dozen, and mw2 has nero-zero outstanding qualities minus away the hype machine.
It still lacks a bit of polish and the weapon cycling needs a bit of work but that's all the bad points i can think of. EPIC is the word to describe the game and from what i've seen, this game has LOADS of potential.
Try to get your hands on a beta somehow and judge it for yourself, believe me, its not as bad as some naysayers are making it out to be

i had Valkyria Chronicle (picked it up early Jan) early this year, followed swiftly by Demon's Souls (R3 asian version) and i'll be picking up Dragon Age early tomorrow.
Next year will start with my long awaited WKC, followed by SO4(i really hope they improved the resolution) and Resonance of Fate. Will probably pick up FF13, and the inevitable localized Tales of Vesperia. And then there's the rumoured PS3 ME2(will play it on PC j...
seems to be the only FPS that generate any sort of excitement for me now, i'm really excited to see what GG are doing to push the series forward. Can't wait for E3 2010!! ^^
edit* i'll love to have splitscreen but it won't be a deal-breaker if it turns out without one. I'm accepting the fact that splitscreen gaming is going the way of the dodo nowadays, very few games this gen supports it.
Anyway while R2 disappointed me slightly(mostly the campaign and art direction) but ACIT is so frigging FUN!
I love the first game(TOD) and i'm enjoying ACIT so MUCH right now. Come on guys! Buy this game!!

This is one sad excuse for a mech game, nothing more than a generic third person shooter with clunky and slow moving robots instead of humans. The dev behind this has a pretty bad record too...
This game is unbelievably fun and has lots of soul. Definitely one of the best Playstation franchises
i avoid SE games nowadays. SE(much like Capcom) have focus WAY too much on mass market appeal this gen and they are undoing everything that made their games so appealing in the first place.
and Sony's motion wand is the only one that have the potential and accuracy to make my dream come true.
any game that is not an FPS gets my attention. A unique games that aims to do something different and has mature story telling? Day one buy for me definitely, just wish that more people are as open-minded.
wonder what does he have against Sony? He is so blinded by hate that he can't see the fact that with a install base 3 times larger than 360's, the PS3 version was always going to outsell its counterpart substantially.
