Qn: So what do WE do now?
Ans: simple...we wait.
*imagine centaur's exposed intestines wriggling in front of my face*
and i do like games that are made without a sequel in mind, they usually have beautiful endings.
They should feel fortunate that they aren't working for Activision, Bobby would have whipped them till they agree to do a sequel. Then again, Activision would NEVER publish games like Heavy Rain anyway
exactly :/
but they do have values that i really admire, the chief among them being their willingness to take risks in order to propel the industry forward.
The PSP is a fine example. The portable market has long been dominated by Nintendo and while it's hurt by rampant piracy, Sony has successfully carved out a sizable market share and gave us an alternative to GameBoy/DS. The multimedia functionality of the PSP is nothing short of amazing and i've never regretted getting mine 3 years ago....
i always thought SVER's the underdog of the three, looks like things have changed since i last played. oh well, i like playing the underdog most of the time so i might switch over to Raven :p
so yes i don't think anyone should get excited about this news...and it WILL definitely bomb hard since 2010 is the year when the onslaught of JRPGs hits the PS3.
I'm curious though, though it's already clear that SE had abandoned that retarded M$ partnership, it seems that they are finally serious about supporting Sony now. All those losses suffered must be forcing their hands.
nice find :)
Sony's RPGs are really leading the way when it comes to online.
Personally, i'm most interested in the town-building feature. It looks friggin fun and using them as a hub before online questing is ingenius
The graphics looks really good and it looks like there's going to be plenty of stuff to do outside of the main story, the series trademark i believe.
Look like i will be getting Yakuza3 when it comes out over here, the gameplay has always intrigued me
blazblue IS awesome, i never really got into fighting games but got addicted to blazblue the moment i pop it into my PS3. i especially love the uniqueness of each character (art style and moveset design), sf4 may have more characters but most of them feels like ryu-clones and it just bores me.
and MotorstormPR if i have to add another.
this is a nice surprise, certainly save them the trouble of importing
the main advantage of blu-ray for gaming is that game devs no longer have to LIMIT their work to fit on a dvd. Whether it takes up 15gb,25gb or 50gb, fact remains that they all fit on ONE blu-ray disc. That means ALOT to sandbox games and RPGs (switching of discs in SO4 for e.g)
It is a great option and many devs have stated that they are happy with the freedom in their interviews
i've always wondered, what will you guys resort to after the inevitable overtaking of 360 by PS3?
well it definitely looks better than Legend of Chun Li...but...
Is that dark hair American suppose to be Jin?!?
i'm anxious to play GT5 and all these juicy interviews are not helping one bit :(
but Darksiders a 6?!?! Seriously? I'm having a hard time believing Dark Void is of the same calibre.
Congrats to Bioware and ME2,the first one didn't really impress me but i will give this one a go. Hope the specs needed to play the sequel doesn't differ too much from the original
you can now look forward to Heavy Rain,WKC,FF13,GT5,TheLastGuard ian and ModNation Racers too. Not to mention released gems like UC2,Demon's Souls,Valkyria Chronicles,MotorstormPR,KZ2 and of course MGS4 :)
on-topic: that is one GOOOOOD-looking boxart!
but Capcom disappointed me this gen. DMC4 and RE5 didn't live up to their predecessors standards imo and i'm one of the rare ones who find SF4 underwhelming(prefer BlazBlue). Jointstrike1942 is an overpriced POS and i'm still pissed with myself for buying it. I didn't touch Bionic Commando though, thank god.
