Give it a year or two, I'm anticipating a remastered collection for next-gen.
The visuals look stellar. Nice to see that you'll be shooting monsters other than the fifth player. That hideous fifth player...
That was because of fan outcry? I never heard about this. How did that transpire?
So cuuute. <3 Can't wait to play it. I wish I had gotten the beta access when I backed it.
Oh, like the number one pick wasn't obvious lol. It's too bad arcades died out in the west. There have been some really cool 3D ones in recent years. I still think the Jurassic Park games are some of the most fun I've ever had in an arcade. Same with House of the Dead and Time Crisis.
Hey man, vidya games are serious bizniss. :P
Same thing happened to me whenever I played Doom. Good times. :)
Can't imagine a heavily action oriented shooter not having exploding barrels. It's like Mario with no mushrooms. Or Crash with no spinning.
Someone already did. :P
Yeah, this definitely seems like the go to epic shooter for PS4 and PC. Battlefield is too mundane for my tastes, so I'm definitely keeping an eye out for this one.
Yeah, but lately these guys have been giving each other's products nothing but praise. I remember Yoshida saying he owned two Wii Us was a big deal and how he had nothing but good things to say about Nintendo. That's awesome coming from a man in his position. That kind of humility and kindness is more of what this industry needs.
Ever play The Binding of Isaac or Super Meat Boy? Sometimes one or two guys is more than enough.
When I played it it was choppy as heck, but that's because it's bringing hundreds of players into one gigantic battle at a time. I'm waiting for a better machine to run it on because my last one ran it less than 30fps. Overall it takes time to get used to, but the big battles feel epic and it's pretty fun to jump into.
That's what I figured the cloud was. I'm not sure what it will do in the long run, but I want to find out, same as any Xbox One fan. I just wish people would just wait until some more concrete demonstrations of it are shown rather than needlessly trashing each other.
For console game though, using this cloud would definitely help the online gaming scene (provided it actually works). So it's something to at least keep an eye on, if you ask me.
@Snuffles
Wow, you really like trashing Xbox One and its fans. :/ How do you know that the Cloud is all smoke and mirrors? As a Sony fan with no plans to get an Xbox One, I'm personally curious to see it get implemented, and I think it's cool that fans of the console are getting excited. If it turns out to be a sham, the fans will be more than angry at it so I don't see why you have to console wimpy or to speak so condescendingly toward fans. Before anyone tells m...
Holy crap. That is amazing.
Many indie games are developed on PC first unless they were intended to be mobile games from the get-go.
This is actually old news, so.
I want to find out this cloud stuff works out for the system. Kind of dumb that they didn't have it ready at launch though.
