That is some lame crap. I can't believe they made the DRM on that so faulty. :/
That would be very strange if a rerelease was considered for GOTY. It'd have to be a REALLY good remake for a REALLY good game before I'd ever consider it.
This design is a lot more tame than the usual FF treatment lol. Square should find that fine line between enough and too much. either way, this game looks pretty as hell. Like the main guy lol.
"While one-on-one dogfighting is something that I could do all day long with a smile on my face, the oft-repeated escort missions ultimately turn that smile upside down."
Uh-oh... gives me bad memories of Rogue Leader. "They're going after the medical frigate!" Me: FINE, TAKE IT. Either way, I'd like to try this anyway. Sci-fi ship flyer are cool. :)
I will lose it if he knows Tempest from Tales of. :D
He has. I'm pretty sure he started on the arcade and was ported over to Atari 2600 and NES (the latter of which was actually good). It's just that he has history. Pac-Man Vs. is a Gamecube exclusive and if anyone can make a cool move set for him it's Sakurai. Look at Mega Man for example.
Why do I get the feeling his eyes were red as hell when he stopped playing? XD
I think it would. Seeing people compete through a video game, in my opinion, is no different than seeing people compete by beating the crap out of each other over a football.
Yup, I meant FFX collection. Are there any collections or remasters you feel deserve to be award contenders? I'm genuinely curious as I've never thought about it before.
^This. SO much of this. Publishers have too much fun taking uniqueness out of games right now. Very rarely is there AAA originality (at least until recently. Now we have a number of AAA new IPs). Hopefully indies and AAA can coexist and be healthy competition for each other.
Very much agreed. There are still some issues that need to be ironed out, but crowdfunding can definitely become a staple in game development.
Holy crap!! How the world do you do that?!
What are you, crazy? Tic-Tac-Toe is my jam!
It would be really interesting if pro gaming ever became as big as physical sports. Something akin to the scale of the Superbowl for example, would be amazing.
In this case, do you feel that this collection does that?
Doesn't the bad stuff you listed fall under game addiction though? I mean video games don't necessarily control one's actions. That's up to the player.
I haven't played Pokemon since Gold myself. X was pretty fresh and the 3D models and animations are very charming. Playing with and feeding Pokemon is uncannily fun.
Actually I've heard zero complaints about the 2DS from those who actually have one. I think the worst crime it's committed is the lack of a clam shell and the speaker is mono. The shell issue is bypassed with the pouch and the mono is fixed by using headphones.
Great, great deal. I'd definitely jump in if possible. This is basically a $100 platform with two free games, one of which is Pokemon.
All of them adorable and/or fantastic in some way. Could use a little more Samus though.
