Some of these issues can be attributed to what little Nintendo has done for the system, but these companies seem to enjoy wasting money to gimp their own games and doom them to low sales regardless of whether or not they are any good. Wii U at least had solid ports at launch. Now it's gone to games with missing content, no DLC, shoddy performance and what not.
On this we agree! I really like the look of FFXV. Before I grew interested in FFX HD, I was going to make FFXV my first FF game. Seems I'll have to buckle down and experience more of these bad boys before then haha.
You should stop hanging with Babidi. Dark Souls is pretty hard if you haven't already tried it.
Man, these games hold so much nostalgia. MGS and OoT are SO good. Can't beat those classics.
“We expect a lot of different specs to run the game at a high,” he said. “But here are the ultra specs for the few who have them and ask for it. Ultra specs: Intel Core i7-4770K with a GeForce 780.”
Well, I certainly can't run that. Console it is then.
Hard as in challenging or hard as in broken? If the latter, okay. If the former, bite me I do what I want! :P
Better make it affordable then. I'll take a free Rift if they're available. Where do I signup? In all seriousness, a free to play game relying on Rift is taking quite a risk. Rift isn't cheap to buy. It would seriously need to become the next iPad for this to be successful.
"Don't like it? Don't wanna support such practises? Then don't buy it. Vote with your wallet."
At the end of the day, this is honestly the most essential thing to keep in mind when approaching this game.
Man, dat old controller doe. It's so weird seeing how far Dualshock has come. Not to mention interesting. I wonder what the designer thought when he made this controller. And so on with the successors.
Got yourself a double post issue there sir? :P
There's definitely potential. I think we've yet to see it realized yet though. VR as of right now comes off as expensive and gimmicky.
Perhaps they developed it on PCs with specs close to the PS4 devkits? Sounds weird, but sometimes developers make machines with similar specs before they get full access to the final devkits or retail system.
Socked? Poor thing, who hit ya? D:
Console is hardware whereas games are software. I'm pretty sure there is some level of difference between updating one vs. the other.
They definitely have similar stories. They're both poorly marketed, mismanaged and not supported the way they should be. Not surprising that both systems' sales are not particularly strong.
That's why I agreed with the report buddy.
Was that the general perception or was just based on one preview or two? Certainly the controller can't be THAT bad. Call me crazy, but I think I still have faith in it being something good. In concept it's supposed to have the same precision and speed as a mouse. I want to really test that for myself.
The gamepad looks weird as hell, but Valve has yet to let me down with something gaming related, so I'd like to try it and see just how the thumb trackers work. I think the reason people are so apprehensive is because it looks so strange. I personally want one because I currently have no PC gamepads and this will likely be a good substitute. If nothing else, I can finally have a gamepad with which to play Binding of Isaac, Brothers and Brutal Legend (and no, the alliteration is not intent...
Not that you're not entitled to that opinion, but have you tried the controller yet?
Fat chocobos are adorable lol. But yes, quite hilarious.
