Each company tends to tailor their hardware to their developers. Sony makes it easy for Cerny and Nintendo makes it easy for Miyamoto.
My opinion on your opinion of his opinion is crap.
Arbitrary numbers also generate a lack of communication. Many people will act as if a 6 - 7 score is somehow in the bad range and it is largely because they won't actually read the review and see that many times those scores communicate a game the reviewer felt was fun but flawed. The problem could very well lie with the audience but I feel one way of combating that is just to remove the number. IMO to me it means very little. The text before it is what is truly important.
This year there is Mario Maker and Tipping Stars and they are pretty different aside from level creation. That's only two games and they are not similar at all. :p
Actually I feel all game reviews should have no score. A lot of the time people don't even read the review they just skip right to the arbitrary number. :/
A Hat In Time, Shantae and a couple of Oddworld games as well.
It took them a while to announce a Wii U version. Maybe they'll announce a Vita version later!
As an owner of both consoles, they are both great machines in their own right. It depends on the kind of experience and games you want. If you like colorful games get the Wii U. If you like the more mature games get the PS4. If you can, try to get both in the long run! :)
I think that would basically guarantee one availabe Amiibo for each individual Pokemon in the entire world lol
You can but most lack the craftsmanship to make look nice or are just lazy lol.
Cool collectibles. The only one I have is Captain Falcon. He's my main in Smash. :3
Best kind of week to have IMO. :p
Sony was thinking about PS5 right around PS4's launch lol. All console makers do that it has nothing to do with a shorter lifespan.
I understand that completely. My first PS3 was used and it went up in smoke lol. I usually buy new consoles since then but my Wii U and Vita were purchased from friends and both work great!
I agree somewhat here. I am firm believer that a publisher has a responsibility to making and marketing their games the right way on all platforms. Ubisoft does a terrible job with PC games so they are also at fault if they make a bad Wii U game. I think many people who own Wii Us are like me and own a console from Sony or Microsoft so there is very little incentive to own those games on Wii U when they don't have as much content and support. IMO Nintendo is at fault for their poor Wii U ...
I think he is using the polarizing review scores for the reason behind his logic. Not a bad reason but I agree it is a bit premature.
Uncharted 4 has not been seen for a while and probably won't release for a while longer. Those pre-order numbers will change when the game is closer to release.
Nintendo Network is not really on par with PSN IMO but it's not exactly terrible either. They need to make unified accounts and a party chat system but other than that it works just fine. I have had no lag at all on Mario Kart and only small amounts of lag on Smash.
Wait... did you get a chance to play it? I'm pretty sure it comes out tomorrow.
"The answer for the Wii U is quite obviously, no."
Which is why 9 million people bought it? You act like it's a basic fact that everyone should hate Wii U. I personally think it's a solid console and quite overlooked and my favorite console is PS4.
