Really dumb idea on IGN's part. When you don't want to generate drama, you ignore the criticism against you. Simple as that, especially for a dumb reason like this.
Or the oversensitive it seems. :/
AngryJoe is a little high strung for my tastes. I'm more of a JonTron and ProJared fan. That said Joe has done a good job of pro-consumer/anti-corporate activism in the past. When he's calling bull on something, it's normally not without good reason.
Guess we'll see how that goes. I'm curious to see those numbers as well. The more numbers the better for Microsoft, EA and Respawn either way though.
Ouch. Sorry you didn't get as much out of it as I did. I certainly didn't think it was garbage, but the campaign and overall performance needed work. Other than that, fighting and using Titans was an absolute blast for me.
For a new IP? That's a pretty big feat actually. This game isn't a big name like CoD or InFamous. I think they deserve a pat on the back for marketing a new IP that was exclusive for a less popular console.
Actually Titanfall took first place in US. No real word on worldwide numbers, I think. But congrats to 'em anyway.
That and the process is still egregiously slow. It's taken eons for some games that were greenlit ages ago to finally get put onto the store.
Are there any portable devices that can run Steam?
People who expected the new consoles to totally preoccupy their game time it seems. I will never sell my older consoles. Too many games on them. And because backwards compatibility is no longer a standard.
I think he and his company can redeem themselves. But they have a lot of work to do before people trust them again.
lol Thanks. Just being honest. They shouldn't have used Sega's Aliens funding on Borderlands 2. That's just scummy.
Bad articles seem to go up a lot. It seems that voting down websites isn't very handy in preventing them. :(
What a novel idea! :O It's almost as if getting free stuff is a totally painless process.
You give it away for free and call it a sale. Happens all the time. :P
Dang Rockefellow, tell us how you really feel. Totally agree.
E3 will probably give us all confirmation.
Crafty developers can do some crazy things with creativity. Look at A Hat in Time. That was made in Unreal. :)
Probably to help the game reach an older audience.
Seems like a dull topic for an N4G post. Not really game news either. Just some non-game related e-drama from two figureheads in gaming. Sigh. :/
edit: Just throwing this out there, I definitely do support Joe on this one, but it's just sad that this is a hot topic on a game aggregate site. I want to talk about games, not e-drama.
@below
Yup, seems that way. Sigh.
