You're only as old as you feel dude, and he has the energy a thirty year old lol.

Anyone who thought that the peek of the PS4's specs had been reached? We're not even a year in and people already seem to think this generation has reached its critical mass. Bleh.

Extended vacation? lol Sucker Punch can do whatever they want to. Whatever they produce will probably really cool. :)

Maybe a coop campaign, but I don't think InFamous is suited for competitive multiplayer. Not unless they did something really creative with it.

Always trust in Sucker Punch. Maybe they can make a Sly Cooper game that has the detail of the new movie. :D

No stopping this armored train, that's definitely for sure. :)

Better developer relations and game focused console were mine. I mean I was going to support PS4 no matter what, but unlike with the previous generation there wasn't a massive price tag riding against my decision.

As the others have said, this list mostly sums up the reasons people were more excited for PS4. Though I think it has just as much to do with Microsoft being dumb as it does with Sony being smart. Sony got lucky when MS flubbed up and then pounced as any smart company would.

Great PR and a focus on solid hardware for starters.

What about Steam? There are benefits to using that service and it's pretty painless as far as DRM goes.

They know their customers would hate it. Microsoft took that risk and it blew up in their faces. A harsh lesson for the entire industry.

Having that option is really great IMO. But Steam is the most painless form of DRM I've ever used. I like keeping all of my games centralized and it helps prevent piracy. I haven't yet tried GoG.com so I can't give you a real opinion on that one, but Steam is definitely not a bad service and it has yet to treat me like crap as a customer.

Save for the lower resolutions, Xbox One multiplats tend to run just about as well as their PS4 counterparts. If Xbox One games were riddled with bugs and loading issues then I would be more worried, but the experiences are almost identical.

I'm not really hyped for the game, but I am intrigued to see how it does as well.

Certainly seems like a better profession for the author. Spending some time with nature will probably do his attitude some good.

4410d ago 12 agree2 disagreeView comment

Oh yeah? Please, tell me more. :)

The thing is the author may have genuinely felt this way about the game. My personal thought is he had an inherent bitter bias toward the game for some reason or just wanted to write a controversial review for attention. Either way, not cool.

4410d ago 13 agree4 disagreeView comment

Maybe not stupid, purposefully controversial though? I can see it being done for clicks.

4410d ago 18 agree4 disagreeView comment

That reeks of troll talk. Like wow, talk about unprofessional. :/

Yeah, a lot of people seem to think the Xbox One is a failure in sales and it really isn't. It's not a roaring success like the PS4, but it doesn't really need to be. Wii U is the one that should really pick itself up, but then a lot of people seem to think that that isn't happening either.
