Sometimes it actually is just lousy development. Wii U's early ports could have definitely looked better but the developers just chose not to take full advantage of the hardware. Could or could not be the same issue with Xbox One multiplats. Not all games of course, some just won't run as well on Xbox One, but for the lesser looking games like Tomb Raider Definitive Edition, there's not much of an excuse.

Fun fact: Movie tie-ins are generally made within six months to coincide with the release of their correspondent movie. Few exceptions to the rule are Goldeneye 64 and Toy Story 3.
It's a movie tie-in game. Did anyone really expect anything less from this? I won't be surprised if the Xbox One and Wii U versions run at 480p or less. And it's not because of hardware limitations either.
Yeah, me too. It's been far too long since the last Turok game and King Kong came out. And those were just okay action shooters.
This just looks like a tech demonstration. Admittedly it doesn't look huge, but if we see the actual game in motion with dinosaurs it will probably look a lot cooler.
Or meaningless shovelware like some of the stuff we've gotten in the past decade.

Dang this series always comes back when you least expect it.
It will probably remain at $60 for a while. My hope is that some day game development for big games like these become cheap enough for them to sell games for as much or less than Blurays and DVDs. It would help the industry immensely.
Might have a lot of content and replayability though. Left 4 Dead was a strictly 4 player coop game before they added Versus mode.

CoD's very popular but I don't think a lot of it isn't tongue in cheek. They've been doing crazy things with the multiplayer for a while. You can turn in Michael Myers for goodness' sake. XD
No gripes whatsoever on my part. Samus is my main and I hate using Zero Suit Samus. So not being forced to switch is great news in my book.
