^This. Darth Maul was the shiz.
Chances are they may let you double dip for less though. They said they are considering a deal for those who already own the game. My hope is that they will give us a cheaper digital copy for those who used the online pass for the PS3 version.
I think it is a cash grab, but at least they are not hyping it up. It's literally there just for people who may want to play it, not to be the next big thing. With things like Metal Gear Ground Zeroes out there, I would say there are for worse offenders as far as cash grabs go. And Tomb Raider was a cash grab too, but just like TLOU it's not necessarily a bad thing.
It's essentially a GOTY edition. All of those get sold for $60 anyway. This one just has the added bonus of a higher framerate and resolution.
I already paid $60 for it on the PS3, so I don't really feel I should pay $60 for it again a newer platform. That's why I'm glad that they are considering a deal for those who already own the game.
That was a gripe of mine. The bots serve as a distraction and not much else.
^This. One of the lead designers at Respawn even came out and said he wasn't concerned about sales, but only making a good game. And a bunch of people called him out for it. Which is sad, that tells more people care more about numbers than games.
"I believe if Titanfall was "so great" it definitely would still be talked about. It has only been one month for crying out loud."
Wait, that sounds like you're saying its overall quality is determined by word of mouth after release. Considering that a bunch of new games are about to come out (Watch Dogs, Mario Kart, etc.) it's no wonder people aren't talking about a game that released a month ago. That doesn't mean Titanfall is not a good ...
Sad too since Titanfall is a quality game. Hype or not I still think it deserved the praise it got. It was a new IP trying some new things with an existing formula. Not many people give it that kind of credit.
Well it's supposed to be this year's hottest third party title. I don't think Ubisoft could afford to screw it up lol.
Couldn't you just mute the volume watch the demonstration?
I've been told that the downgrade was actually quite sensationalized, but either way it's nice to see the game make a comeback with the public and still maintaining hype.
They probably don't give anything that the player wouldn't already know within the first ten minutes or so of the game. I doubt they plan on giving away essential plot details without warning viewers.
Me neither lol. My laptop is my game machine and it works well enough to run games like Bioshock and Left 4 Dead pretty well, but anything more sophisticated starts running below 20fps. It's a chore lol.
Wait, why get rid of the anime stuff? Some people like anime and may want to use it in their game. Isn't that a bit unfair to restrict others just because you don't like the style?
Not all of them. It largely depends on the mod and what's in your machine.
Well that's a shame. Couldn't they just make it support cosmetic and texture mods?
Yes indeedy. Get hyped! :D
I'm inclined to agree. It has some of the best animation I've seen in a realistic generation seven game.
What was so terrible about it though? Racing through cramped corridors for dear life, it all felt like a reference to the Death Star trench run. And I agree, it definitely translated into an awesome arcade game (and the console game wasn't bad either).
