But isn't it a free update?
I wonder if perhaps this will include VR support for demos... now that would be something.
I'm pretty sure that will go live when PSNow is out of Beta and officially live.
That'd be pretty slick. Certainly makes trying demos more appealing.
Upgrades for demos? Color me interested! :D
I believe he means when games were more exciting and less poor business practices in the industry. More excitement and less controversy. That would be a wonderful turnaround in my book, anyway.
"It seems to me that many gamers come off as little brats who whine if game companies don't cater to them and them only. God forbid we get more non-gamers into the industry so that said industry can be more welcomed by others instead of seen with discontent."
^This really does sum it up. People get defensive over things that are different. I don't like playing games on my phone, but I really like the phone game market because it introduces people to video ga...
People wanted a reason to differentiate Wii from the other consoles due to its more family oriented direction. Sad too because Wii appealed to hardcore games with several gems. Zelda, Muramasa, Resident Evil, etc. There was some solid harcore content on Wii. It was just divided by a lot of casual games, many of which were shovelware.
Only our wallets will move this industry when it boils down to it. Always remember that.
Fingers crossed for a lot of new great looking games at E3! :D
Gamepad is not as detrimental as you think. It was priced too high and wasn't advertised well. No exciting games at launch or anything. Now even with games coming out, the advertisement isn't there. Wii U has a lot of issues. That gamepad is not one of them.
The Gamepad is what makes the Wii U unique. You need that device. And there are places selling it for $300 bundled with a game, so the value of the console is around $250. At that point I think you're just being kind of cheap about it.
Dreamcast lost a lot of money because of the rampant piracy. Wii U doesn't have that issue so it's actually making money because Nintendo software sells so well in tandem with hardware.
Better even than Link's Awakening and the Oracle games? Certainly a debate worth having. ;)
Capcom also did the Oracle games! :D
I heard the reason they haven't is due to emulation issues. I have the Ambassador Program and the GBA graphics do look kind of washed out. Plus I don't think they can do screen smoothing on 3DS.
Agreed! This list is absolutely brilliant. Let's also get some Sonic Battle and the Super Mario Advance games up there! :)
I would love to see the game as soon as possible, but agreed. If it takes until 2015, I say give ND the time they feel they require to make it the best game possible. :)
Why not both? Naughty Dog does do good multiplayer as shown in Uncharted 2 and 3.
Better than not receiving it at all, I say.
