Oh well, I guess I'll go back to playing COD4, no biggie.
The game developers have a good record (Golden Eye, Timesplitters, etc), so for some they have some confidence. I remember reading in a magazine that they're planning a demo, but that was some time ago so I'm not sure if they still are.
Well you've got GT5:Prologue coming in March, GTA IV in April and MGS4 in June - makes sense to me to do May as that's a bit of an empty month in comparison. Just my opinion though...
It does say that those players are included in the list, but it doesn't confirm that is all of them. Oh and Nadal is included.
According to Wiki:
"20 playable characters have been confirmed by 2K Sports on 02/20/08. Classic legends have been included.
Men:
Mario Ancic, Tomas Berdych, James Blake, Roger Federer, Tommy Haas, Gael Monfils, Andy Murray, Rafael Nadal, David Nalbandian, Mark Philippoussis, Andy Roddick.

Wow, is this the first thing we Europeans have gotten before America?? Also, that's not too far way from now, good good! Looking on play.com, there are actually quite a few games being released that day.
Yes, liking the graphics. Looking forward to this game. May 20th seems too far way lol Am I wrong in thinking this will be the first tennis game on the PS3 to have online play?
HD-DVD players and HD-DVD movies are going to drop significantly in price in the coming year(s). I bet you could have gotten it for cheaper than $69 if you had waited a bit, the guy selling it must have been very pleased with how much you bought it for!
I've already ordered my VIP ticket. Wonder what the difference is between the VIP and these normal tickets? They really need to make a website or something for this to give us some information. We know what companies are planning to show up, but don't know anything else about it!
I wonder if it has rumble? Thinking about it, does GT5 even support rumble?? lol The price might scare some of the more casual gamers too....
EDIT: @ Alcohog: Casual gamers are still interested in getting a racing experience and there is no doubting that having a wheel is a better experience than a controller.
I'm keeping an eye on this game, I'm liking the looks of it. Here's hoping to some good reviews!
I don't think Sony actually shows off their free online enough - it can be a big selling point to some. A friend of mine has both consoles and any game that has multiplayer he buys it for the PS3 due to it being free. He's even thinking of getting rid of his 360 now due to the lack of usage.
Sony needs to blow it's own trumpet more often!!
I wonder how developers feel when they've spent all this time and money on a game and it turns out like this. Surely someone, at some point, must stop and say "this aint good, we need to do this...and that".
All these details were revealed ages ago, there is nothing new here.
Does JamieSI even check the stuff he approves? lol
JamieSI strikes again with approving another duplicate story lol (waiting for my disagrees like last time....)
It's not possible to get BBC HD over freeview or anything similar at the moment. The only way to get it is through Sky HD at present and if I'm not mistake Channel 4 have a HD channel also which should be free like BBC.
I believe there are plans to make these HD channels available over the air, but I doubt that will be any time soon and if we're lucky 2009/2010. But what sets this apart from already current freeview receivers is the HD turners which means that if/when HD chann...
With Virtua Tennis and TopSpin I don't think there is a real need for them to make their own, there might be a few too many then.
EDIT - Sorry, my sarcastic radar must be broken! :)
::::disappointed:::: No rumble support :(
That's what I was thinking and said up there - but I still get a disagree lol
I'm pretty sure the 99.99 is the RRP, which means I'm remaining hopefuly places will sell it for less like they do everything else. I'd think it'd look much more appealing around the £79.99 or £69.99 mark.
Nice bundles there, I can see these attracting a few sales, the movie bundle especially. Nice job Sony. It's a shame they're not releasing the Dual Shock 3 over here yet; like how hard can it be to make a couple million and distribute them?
