You can record one programme while watching another since it has two turners built into it. I presume you can also record two things at the same time. The same as Sky+ I believe!
EDIT: Jdoki - You beat me to it lol
Has anyone ever found out whether you can record a programme while playing a game at the same time? That would be a huge plus to me and I'm sure many others.
Anyone know?
You should put your theory to the test. Create a news post stating that "devil may 4 cry install causes xbox 360 to break down" and let's see if it gets approved and reaches 1000 lol I would LMFAO if it did, but for some reason I don't think it will ;)
It is actually quite an accusation you're throwing around and to be fair a good majority of the reports are for the terrible editing and I'm sure it'd get a few more approvals if it at least used the English language.
Just watched the video and it seemed like the PS3 was still working? Yes the colours were messing up a bit, but that could be anything such as a bad cable or a faulty TV, the PS3 seemed to be operating still and hadn't broken down - as the titles leads you to believe - and could just be game related. Also, this seems to have happened to this one unlucky person and isn't really a widespread problem and, therefore, in IMHO isn't really news worthy. Maybe the guy should have called the helpline ...
Cheers for that Gorgon, it's good to know that. I didn't realise that the software wasn't doing all the work and that there is still some hardware doing the BC.
I guess it wouldn't be a simple firmware update like I thought! I'm sure they can come up with a way of running them on the new hardware like you said though.
How has my comments been deleted yet Zhuk's is still there? I merely copied and quoted part of his comment and said that it was unwelcomed and it should be in the Open Zone. Nothing wrong with that is there? :::confused:::
Us unfortunate Europeans never had BC through hardware (well apart from PS1 games) but all through software. My 60GB PS3 gives me BC to PS2 games via software, so in theory Sony could include this software in a future firmware update.
Now obviously, I don't know the ins and outs of how Sony does it's BC, but this is the information I've always read around the net.
That's cool and all, I'm glad they've fixed the 'issue' with how long it took to connect to games - but when are we going to get rumble?? It's the game I play the most, but it's like the only game that doesn't have rumble....
Anyone know if/when they're going to include rumble?
"Backwards compatibility is a big issue. That's why Microsoft and Nintendo have it."
That's why Sony has it too. My PS3 (and millions of others) play PS2 games without problem. I've never understood this whole thing about attacking Sony about BC, when they give you a choice to have it or not. If you want it, you'll have to pay a bit more to get it but those who don't want it wont have to spend as much.
People are just trying to pick at problems which don't ...
For everyon's information, this is for the Xbox 360 version as well as the Playstation 3 version. See direct link to GAMES's website, listing the products (including The Club) that use this promotion, under the alternative links.
Nice find btw!
I find having a US PSN account just spoils the UK PSN update each week for me, since we just get all the US content a few weeks later...
You haven't set up an American PSN account yet? It's very very easy to do, just be sure to have a valid US postal address (can be anything, so just google!) and a different PSN username and e-mail(I think you need a different e-mail). When you add a new user, just be sure to select USA from the drop down and then follow all the rest and you'll be hooked up to the US PSN store straight away. Enjoy!
No problem here either and haven't had any problems since I got my PS3 back in May.... just been playing some COD4 for the past 4 hours too.
Are we going to have to put up with 'news' posts every time one person can't connect to the PSN or Live from now on??
How about just not buying your children certain games? If a game shop does their job properly they shouldn't sell certain games to children under the set age limit for that game, and the only way for them to obtain those games is usually via their parents.
If your child does obtain a game they shouldn't have, then at least the PS3 does have parental control, albeit not one easy to understand. If Sony are going to use their own rating system, then they should at least explain it...
Yeah, I've found the preview. It's from Eurogamer and is a pretty good read. Regarding what I said earlier:
"Rather than simply retelling the events of the TV series, Lost opts to tell the story of an entirely new castaway - a passenger on the ill-fated flight who wakes up in the jungle along with everyone else, and has his own pathway through the story of the show. The story of the game covers the first two seasons of the series (with certain landmarks, such as the Flame ...
If I remember correctly, I read in a previously posted preview that this game is based on the first two series, as when they started developing the game they hadn't started the third. So the game will likely be based loosely around the on-goings of those episodes and I'm sure they'll throw their own made up stuff in there too.
That video is such a tease. You just see beautiful scenery with a few animals and then it starts setting on fire - that's it! You see more of the game in the screenshots in the other story http://www.n4g.com/NewsCom-...
Any idea when the 'full' trailer is going to be released?
@ Mighty Douche below: Cheers for that. I haven't looked into this game before now and it looks class. That is also...
Oh dear, how did this get approved with so many channels when this only relates to the Wii version??
Shame on JamieSI approving this story lol
