You will not understand the value of GP until you actually use it. For more than two years I didn't even think about using it once, I thought about trying and I'm fascinated by it now. Microsoft doesn't force you to do anything. People keep subscribing to a service just because they really like it.
Metroid Dread looks like an Indie game that you develop for no more than 2 years. The problem with powerful consoles like XSX and PS5, where the games actually have "graphics" and attention to detail. To display these games on 4K screens you need a twice the development time, otherwise people are constantly pointing fingers. Graphics is the least important thing on Switch.
Article: "On my i9-10900K PC, I saw average frame rates of 38fps at 1440p and 33fps at 1080p. The Core i9-11900K managed to bump these to 45fps average at 1440p and 41fps average at 1080p" with RTX 3090.
If you call that boring, how you comment the rest of the presentations at E3? Ubisoft? Square Enix? Capcom? Sony wasn't even there...they don't give a sh*t about fans.
Stalker 2 was my baby. The game looks unreal.
Maybe, but basically everything goes to a Game Pass. This should not be called "just third party games".
FH5 cover probably not final, no car on the front and this "Standard" does not belong there.
Whatever the studios will decide to release. Microsoft does not say what and how they should develop games. If you release a bad game, it will bring you less money and lower your reputation. No one wants that, right ? Even if it's in game pass. A considerable quantity is also sold on discs.
Crossplay is my new thing I hate in PvP. You'll even feel the difference in games like Knockout City, where PC owners have a small advantage over console players (you can look around faster and even 120+ fps makes the game even smoother and more responsive).
This time 2 things have changed.
1. 4-5 years in development, not 2 (if it comes out at the end of 2022). FM7 came out late 2017.
2. Next gen only, no cross-gen like Gran Turismo 7.
For Xbox, 60fps only counts as 4K/60. You want to cover all the pixels on your TV you paid for, right?
Game Pass is not "right now" for you, because Microsoft has not released any first-party games yet ... 23 studios, 0 games.
Did you let the GPU expire first or added to an already active GPU?
You can upgrade your existing Gold to Game Pass Ultimate for $1 (and you even get 3 months on top of that for free).
Let say you had Gold for 2 years left. By paying only $1, the two services are combined and you will get 2 years and 3 months worth of Game Pass Ultimate.
Still complaining? Probably no.
Everything they do is never remarkable or amazing (from Ubisoft). It's just a GOOD (up to 8.0 / 10) game, nothing else.
343 just has too much to carry on its shoulders, 5 different platforms, cross-play between them all and multiplayer is like making another game within an existing game (campaign). No less important and not a small part of the game. The maps are completely separate from the campaign. I actually feel sorry for 343.
Something to do with the SSD cooling. I bet the location of the SSD has changed in the new model or at least redesigned.
to Teflon02:
This is how little you know (and the rest of news distributors). You have to be online ONLY for 10 seconds after the installation is complete, choose "stay offline" and play without an internet connection, wherever you want and as much as you want. You can play all digitally downloaded games from external devices as well as discs, if you have already confirmed this option and it will not be asked the next time you start the game. This DRM news only applies when...
It also came to the Xbox and became "boring".
If you look at history, Bethesda usually shows the games for the first time on E3 and releases at the end of the same year. The only exception was "Oblivion." Starfield gameplay at E3 in June 2022 and will be released in November 2022.
