You're seriously comparing a console's year 5 release schedule with another's year 1 schedule? You can try and defend it all you want but Nintendo's release efforts since year 3 have been trash. Relying mostly on remasters, lazy ports, and low budget titles. Their games have become safe, boring, and lack any real production value. It also doesn't help that their games have to be played on such sh_t hardware.
I'm the complete opposite when it comes to off the lot economy cars in racing games. I dont want to waste my time puttering around the track at 80mph in a Mercury Tracer or Ford Focus. To me there's absolutely no thrill or satisfaction in that. The appeal of racing games to me is being able to drive unattainable high powered cars that haul ass around the track. Yes, Nintendo released a lot of remasters, glorified upres'd 3DS games/mobile games, and the umpteenth variation of Pokémon and Monster Hunter. An impressive accomplishment. However this is one instance where I feel the sales success of the hardware doesn't match up with it's actual library of games. The vast majority of quality games on Switch came out in it's first 2 years. Since then, it's has been such a slow drip feed that it's been frustrating for me.

The problem is the vast majority of the "outrage" is coming from social media which I NEVER consider legitimate outrage. It's a falsely inflated demographic that is largely fake and I will never understand why so many corporations capitulate to that group. It doesn't take one ounce of effort or commitment to send a tweet, saying you're "outraged" about something. None. If I were Rowling I would tell them all to f_ck off.
She's entitled to her opinion. Whether I agree with her opinion or not is completely irrelevant to my enjoyment of the art she creates. Oh and the "backlash" is only being perpetuated because media outlets like this one continue to report on it.

For me it was Destruction All-Stars. I really liked the graphical presentation and the gameplay mechanics. However it just lacked content. It was released as a completely hollow, bare bones experience that was really never built/improved on. The game had "Rocket League" potential but post-launch support has been non existent.
I haven't played it, so I can't really give an opinion. However Returnal's sound was phenomenal. FH5 would had to have been pretty damn special to best it.

The only category where I scratched my head was Best Art Direction going to Deathloop. That one made littke sense to me. I felt Ratchet and/or Kena were more deserving. Oh and IMO Guardians of the Galaxy shouldve won for best soundtrack.
Very much looking forward to this! The new trailer really delivered. But man, at the :15 second mark I was convinced that she was about to glide on the back of one of those flying creatures and ride it! When she sort of went in between them I was like "OH MAN! COCKTEASE!!!" LOL.
Seems to me like they could've delivered a sequel in the time it is taking to get this DLC out.
