Not goinna lie. I had never heard of the term "portmanteau" before! LOL. Thank you for the education!
LOL why do people refuse to let this one go? People act like Platinum had a GOTY on their hands with that game. Itd be like PlayStation fans still hollering to Capcom about Deep Down. Move on already.
Is "Sophy" an acronym for Sony and Polyphony?
It could be a threat if it runs good Nintendo game emulation. Maybe not in terms of astronomical numbers but enough to at least get Nintendo's attention. I do not support emulation personally but if I'm sitting there with a bunch of Switch games and I know they will look and run better on another device, I would absolutely be tempted to play them through emulation.
One thing is for certain, Nintendo absolutely needs competition in the handheld space again. As end...
1. Deeper customization for ships. I want to be able to paint my ship any color I want. I also want liveries where I can add custom logos, insignias, etc. If I want to paint my ship candy apple red and put orange flames on the side of it, I should be able to do that. It's weird to me that we can choose all sorts of colors for our exosuits and rovers/subs but not our actual ships. But even on those vehicles I want deeper customization to add logos/insignias, etc.
2. This...
Yes, enough of invoking this kind of crap in gaming reviews! Has nothing to do with the quality of the game itself! Youre a game reviewer, not a political activist! They should fire this person! This is irresponsible reviewing! Its one step above "review bombing" on metacritic because you have a personal axe to grind.
@Neonridr
My frustration lies in the fact that for the last 5 years, everytime Nintendo has iterated on the Switch design, its solely been for the benefit of the gamer who plays portably. There's been absolutely nothing done for the benefit of the docked gamer. This was the year that a Switch Pro shouldve been introduced. And while the Switch is smaller than the Series S, lets not pretend like the Steamdeck isnt a thing, isnt way more powerful, and isnt coming out this...
Im at awe of nothing that runs on Switch anymore. Its always a lesser iteration of whats running on the next gen (and last gen) consoles. Look at the series S. This system is roughly the size of a cigar box. Plays games at 1440p/60fps. Supports ray tracing. And costs 300 bucks. Nintendo has no excuse! They need a more powerful switch or theyre going to continue to lose 3rd party support.
Ok then if they're not competing, bring Starfield to PS5. I'm waiting.
UGHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!
My 2019 Samsung Galaxy S10+
70.00 to own the game outright.
180.00 to play the game on game pass for a year, and you still don't own it.
Doesn't seem like a better deal to me.
Winner! If you own both consoles, none of this is relevant to you and you don't have to pay any attention to it.
I think that's the point LOL!
How will they handle violence in a Wolverine game? Often! Quite often Im hoping!
@pietro1212
You could literally say that though about every market leader of every console generation. PS4 was still selling well before Sony launched the PS5. The Wii was killing it in sales before Nintendo launched the Wii U. The NES was top dog before Nintendo launched the SNES. At SOME point you have to move on. The biggest problem with Nintendo is they have no competition in the handheld space and it shows. They are so slow in getting games out. They are slow to...
It also means that Nintendo needs to hurry the hell up and release some better hardware.
@Neonridr
"think about the wasted material that go into physical though."
No worse than the huge carbon footprint that's created from having to run enormous server farms.
@TheDibbler
But the only reason anybody spends 2k on a PC IS for gaming. If all you need is something to run office, store your pictures, videos, and music and get online with, you can buy a dirt cheap laptop that will do all that. Hell I can do all that with my phone! I do not care about mods and I do not care about BC beyond last gen. Like I said, until the day I can walk into a store and buy a PC for 400.00 at the same performance level as the next gen consoles is the...
This was literally the only announcement during the direct that I cared about. It also tells me that MK9 isn't coming anytime soon. Nintendo is probably developing it as a Switch 2 launch game.
