I mean for an Xbox One based game ... it wasn't that bad ... the prob was most people assumed it'd be a Series X exclusive next gen game
I recall a DF discussion where they compared the original HaloInfinite/Splipspace reveal trailer with the launched campaign and in that they observed a lot of the advertised/planned features didn't end up in the main game, like varied biomes, animals, effects etc ... alot was cut and pared back ( and after reading recently about the mismanagement within 343 during development) and that Infinite was also required to run on 2013's XBOne .... I'd say they could've given Slipspace...

@Fishy Fingers ... I am not favoring mixed perspective match, unless its balanced somehow.
MP modes/matches should be strictly either 1st person or 3rd person ... like for example how PUBG used to do, separate 1st person and 3rd person modes/server and even progression.
Maybe this was easier to do as a byproduct of the engine/development tools ... many FPS games' implementation have 3rd person biased camera solution, hence easier to convert. .... like World War Z got a 1st person mode later. Same for GTA V & RDR 2. Recalling early CoDs having Dev 3rd person modes .... anyway not defending 343i's decision here, just speculating what might've been the case. (Halo Gears came to my mind initially)

The dev just mentions that Horizon remaster is the first big PS project that they're (Nixxes as a studio) delivering after their past 5 PC port jobs ... nowhere the dude says that they're working on other remasters.

A rare event where N4G folks are interacting more under the Gamespot's review submission and not the typical IGN's submission.
Typically IGN reviews become the hottest submission within a hour or two its approval and nobody even checks the Gamespot one.
But this rare time, Gamespot scored their favorite game higher than IGN. (Gamespot's review quality is better than IGN's majority of the time. They're the ones who gave CP2077 a 6/10 due to launch quality,...

I think Sony would atleast design the new pricey console in such a way to have similar plate attachment are/points.
They already did the base PS5 to slim design change .... rendering the earlier plates unusable, you'd think they'd not do that again?
But they did .... according to some reddit posts, they are not interchangeable, due to change in curvature, change in rear venting design & the upper plates are actually slightly taller ... WTF Sony?
If they were doing that, they'd done that for the console ports as well, but they didn't.
