Honestly I want a story campaign based on the Hunt universe using the same mechanics
Less good games is better than frequent flops.
But anyways, looking at the downvotes, ... umm, is Larian's DragonAge that bad an idea? If time interval's the pain point here, well ... we waited 10 years for another Dragon Age and the current Bioware will be focusing on Mass Effect anyways.
Or do people want Larian to focus exclusively on their own IP next? In that case, I say the above comment was a hopeful wishlist, as Larian will never collab with EA but ... they...
Dream wishlist : Larian taking up a future contract for a future Dragon Age sequel.
Done purely independently without any EA influence.
A good optimized PC port after a long time.
I know Bioware might switch to UE5 for new ME since the OG trilogy was UE3 based.
But given UE5 stutter issue and frostbite performing so better in reality, I'd say sticking with Frostbite ain't a bad idea.
Luke stephens : "So, two PlayStation execs greenlight a $200,000,000 project that was doomed to fail and, when it does, one of them retires and the other gets a promotion to a position where he then fires everyone who worked on it?... Got it."
For Concord fans, you can still experience the universe one last time in Amazon's upcoming gaming focused Secret level series.

" The Game for The Game Lovers "
Agree ... the moment I read the comment the ME main menu theme came to my mind.
Dont effing downgrade ME.
I am looking forward to Exodus for my ME fix in the meantime anyways.
UE5 ME
So much for the F2P comeback .... but isn't this a bit too brutal? More brutal than EA or T2.
Studio's debut Big AAA game released just 2 months ago and already the whole studio is being nuked?
"It works and doesnt crash" ~ is something that became prevelant recently in PC space due to rise in incompetent port jobs with most AAA games being console-centric-developed nowadays. So hence the rise in change in reviews but thats not the norm nor the standard. Steam reviews existed well before that and also ... steam is also home to thousands of non-AAA Steam only titles ... the reviews there dont revolve around "If It works and doesnt crash".
Which, on-paper, sounds good? ... we get action-adventure all the time, so, if executed properly, an adventure-action seems like a slightly different good idea.
If you want to enjoy the same Mass Effect vibes, better keep an eye on the Exodus.
Being made by OG ex-Bioware devs at Archetype Entertainment, its a spiritual successor to ME-trilogy.
Recommend mod on Series S: low texture mod
@LordoftheCritics
Yea but EA needs a flagship RPG studio and the current BioWare is what they've got and will use.
Dragon Age needs a different studio I think. Not bashing Veilguard, I actually want it to be good. Its a different take by a newer people @ Bioware, I understand ... not every sequel needs to be a carbon-copy of the previous one. Lets accept Veilguard as a DA spin-off-ish.
But since this studio already announced their next project as Mass Effect, th...
I think this current BioWare team should just turn into a MassEffect team. Their current design choice & direction are more suited for Mass Effect. And EA should outsource the Dragon Age IP to a more suited team like Larian. (I know Larian is a difficult choice but lets say Larian-esque studios ... )
not from everywhere ... there's a trend
some are 9+ whereas others are 6-7
The restaurant is favorite coz he's already eaten there .... so ... has he already played the game?
If not, then he should go through the reviews (being the whole point of reviews) in order to decide on a non-essential 60+ USD purchase. And I said reviews, plural ... not a single one, both from big sites and from small trusted youtuber/sites.
@Armaggedon
Baldur's Gate 1 & 2 were developed by Bioware.
& BioWare described Dragon Age: Origins as a "dark heroic fantasy" and a spiritual successor to their previous Baldur's Gate and Neverwinter Nights franchises.
And you think Larian won't be able to play with DA lore after BG3?
